  • Publication number: 20240158374
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to compounds of formula (I) and pharmaceutical compositions and their use in reducing Widely Interspaced Zinc Finger Motifs (WIZ) expression levels, or inducing fetal hemoglobin (HbF) expression, and in the treatment of inherited blood disorders (e.g., hemoglobinopathies, e.g., beta-hemoglobinopathies), such as sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia.

  • Patent number: 8666619
Abstract: A method includes: receiving M solenoids, each marked with a unique one of M identifiers, where M is an integer greater than one; receiving M lookup tables associated with respective ones of the M identifiers, wherein each of the M lookup tables establishes a relationship between input current and output pressure for only one of the M solenoids; assembling a transmission with a selected one of the M solenoids; selecting one of the M lookup tables based on one of the M identifiers marked on the selected one of the M solenoids; storing the selected one of the M lookup tables in memory of a transmission control module of a vehicle that is assembled with the transmission; and controlling output pressure of the selected one of the M solenoids based on the selected one of the M lookup tables and the input current using the transmission control module.

  • Patent number: 8452482
Abstract: A diagnostic system for a vehicle comprises a diagnostic module, a control module, and a hardware interface module. The diagnostic module selectively diagnoses a fault in one or more of components that are integrated within a housing. The control module receives a request for testing of the diagnostic module and retrieves predetermined fault data corresponding to the fault. The hardware interface module receives component data for the diagnosis and the predetermined fault data, disables provision of the component data to the diagnostic module, and provides the predetermined fault data to the diagnostic module for the diagnosis.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 24, 2010
Date of Patent: May 28, 2013
Inventors: Christina Cramer, Matthew R. Malik, Timothy P. Philippart
  • Patent number: 8437884
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle includes a period determination module and a motion detection module. The period determination module determines a period for the vehicle to travel a predetermined distance based on a desired transmission output shaft speed (TOSS), a target transmission output shaft position, a final drive ratio of the vehicle, and a tire size of the vehicle. The motion detection module detects whether the vehicle is moving based on the TOSS during the determined period.

  • Patent number: 8427806
Abstract: A current control output (CCO) system for transmission solenoids includes a current determination module, a current compensation module, and a current control module. The current determination module determines a desired current for the solenoids based on a desired pressure. The current compensation module generates a compensated current by adjusting the desired current based on a system pressure and a temperature of oil in the transmission. The current control module performs current-based control of and applies hysteresis to the solenoids based on the compensated current.
