  • Patent number: 11959252
Abstract: A hydraulic apparatus has a plurality of pump modules each of which is formed by a plurality of working chambers having a common high pressure manifold. A connecting circuit switchably connects pump modules to first and second hydraulic circuit portions to allocate capacity as first and second demands for hydraulic fluid vary. In an apparatus which may have two or more connecting circuit outputs, valves may be controlled or working chamber pumping cycles made inactive to facilitate the reallocation of a pump module from one output to another, and a control strategy addresses pump module allocation when the demands for hydraulic fluid exceed available capacity.

  • Patent number: 11928095
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to a system to generate and cause display of a specially configured graphical user interface to receive and present collections of images. According to certain example embodiments, an image analysis system: receives an image file from a client device; generates a hash value based on the image file; performs a comparison of the hash value with a list that comprises a collection of hash values; identifies a match to the hash value among the collection of hash values; assigns a label to the image file in response to identifying the match among the collection of image files from the list; and indexes the image file at a memory location identified by the label assigned to the image file.

  • Publication number: 20170208493
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for managing a distributed sensor system. More specifically, the described features generally relate to managing such a system to maintain or improve quality of data obtained from the system. Such management may involve receiving sensed data from sensors of the system and determining an aggregated data quality of the system based on knowledge of the quality of data from individual sensors of the system and knowledge of the geographical locations of the individual sensors. In general, the management may be performed to improve the aggregated data quality of the system. For example, a sensor of the system may be identified to be calibrated. The system may be managed to facilitate calibration of the identified sensor by identifying one or more other sensors of the system to be relocated so that the identified sensor may be calibrated using information from the other sensor(s).

  • Publication number: 20160379314
Abstract: A method for introducing action items via a social media interface of a social media platform is provided. The method detects, at a server, an incomplete feedback request submitted to the social media platform, wherein the incomplete feedback request lacks response, and wherein the social media platform is connected to the server; generates an action item post from the incomplete feedback request; and provides, by the server over a network, the action item post via the social media interface.

  • Publication number: 20070211055
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture provide the ability adaptively render/adjust a display. A visual style comprising an encapsulated set of one or more (or all of the) display properties may be set. An adaptive degradation chain is then determined/established that comprises an ordered sequence of the display properties. The ordered sequence determines an order for changing the one or more display properties when adjusting a rendering quality. The rendering quality is set. The rendering quality is temporarily adjusted by changing one or more of the display properties based on the adaptive degradation chain.

  • Publication number: 20070034580
Abstract: A valve assembly includes a retainer, a knob connected to the retainer, and a seal member. A filter arrangement includes a housing, a media pack operably oriented in the interior volume of the housing, a retainer operably oriented in a valve opening in the housing, a knob, and a seal member. The retainer defines a knob-receiving bore. The knob includes a base external to the housing and defines a drain hole. The knob also includes a tube extending from the base and through the knob-receiving bore into the interior volume of the housing. The tube defines an open interior in fluid communication with the interior volume of the housing, and an aperture arrangement to provide fluid communication between the tube open interior and a region external to the tube. The seal member is axially moveable relative to the housing to selectively form a seal between the base of the knob and a sealing surface of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6050811
Abstract: A hand held, flammable gas igniter includes a handle with a thumb activated trigger extending, out of the handle top, a child safety lock mounted in the handle bottom, a cylinder filled with a flammable gas enclosed within the handle and a hollow tube extending forward from the handle to deliver the gas, when ignited, to a desired location, such as charcoal in a barbecue or wood in a fireplace. When the child safety lock is activated the trigger is released so that it can move downward and forward into the handle causing an L-shaped rocker to pivot forward, opening a gas flow valve on the cylinder, delivering the flammable gas to the end of the hollow tube. The movement of the trigger also activates a piezoelectric spark generator, delivering an igniting spark to the gas at the end of the tube.
