  • Publication number: 20230125353
Abstract: A fluid detection system includes a fluid detection sensor disposed at a fluid sensing portion of the system, and a reference sensor disposed at a reference sensing portion of the system. The detection sensor and the reference sensor are subject to at least one common ambient environmental condition, such that the detection sensor exhibits an electrical characteristic that is different from an electrical characteristic of the reference sensor when fluid contacts the detection sensor. The fluid sensing portion may be within an internal fluid passage of a conduit that is removably couplable to a fluid device. Alternatively or additionally, the fluid sensing portion may be disposed in a fluid flow path, such as a leak path, in a permanent structure of a fluid device. The reference sensor may be disposed in a location away from and/or intentionally divided from the fluid flow path. The system may include a warning system.

  • Patent number: 11013846
Abstract: Systems and sensor clip assemblies for optically monitoring blood flowing through a blood chamber are provided. A sensor clip assembly includes emitters and photodetectors positioned on opposing arms, a signal conditioning circuit for conditioning raw analog signals generated by the photodetectors while the sensor clip assembly is fastened to a blood chamber, and an analog-to-digital converter for converting the conditioned analog signals to raw digital data. The sensor clip assembly may include a microcontroller for calculating parameters of blood flowing through the blood chamber such as hematocrit, oxygen saturation, and change in blood volume from the raw digital data. The sensor clip assembly is in communication with a networked computer, and the networked computer is in communication with a remote computer configured to provide a user interface for monitoring and/or controlling the sensor clip assembly.

  • Publication number: 20050213511
Abstract: A system and method for gathering and reporting user and device activity data from wireless communication devices through a log file. The log file stores entries related to user events including the use of communications and applications, as well as access to local and remote media resource files. The log file entries may include parameters critical to mobile device operation such as location, signal quality, and battery power. The data gathering system comprises a plurality of wireless communications devices, each of which sends the log files through an available wireless communications system to a central facility for processing and aggregation into a database. Stored data is analyzed to generate, display, and marketing information that may include historical trends and projections of future consumer preferences and activities.
