  • Publication number: 20200254462
Abstract: A magnetic debris level measuring device for a magnetic filter is disclosed. The magnetic debris level measuring device includes a magnetometer and a temperature sensor. The temperature measured by the temperature sensor is used to calculate a corrected magnetometer reading, which in turn can be used to determine the amount of captured magnetic debris held within the filter. The device has a stored threshold for the corrected magnetometer reading, and when the corrected magnetometer reading crosses the stored threshold a notification is issued that the filter is full. If it is detected that debris continues to be captured after the ‘full’ notification has been issued, the stored threshold will be updated accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20200253228
Abstract: Described herein are conveyor systems and application units which can be used to transport and simultaneously treat, or to facilitate treatment and inspection of produce, agricultural products, or other items. The conveyor systems and application units can be configured to allow products to be simultaneously rotated as they are moved along a packing line, which can facilitate the uniform application of spray coatings and/or allow the products to be uniformly blow dried while they are moved. Exemplary conveyor systems and application units can include a bed formed of a plurality of rollers and a rotation inducing device that causes the rollers to rotate while they are laterally transported, thereby causing the products lying on top of the bed to rotate during transport.

  • Publication number: 20200239957
Abstract: Chronic activation of the ?-Adrenergic Receptor (?-AR) can have deleterious effects on the heart, and animal models over-expressing the ?-AR develop heart failure. In the classical ?-AR pathway, activation of the receptor results in increased cyclic AMP (cAMP) levels. However, ?-ARs are desensitized in the failing heart and cAMP levels are decreased. Phosphodiesterase 3A (PDE3A) hydrolyzes cAMP in certain subcellular compartments in cardiac myocytes, regulating cAMP levels and subsequent protein kinase A mediated cell signaling. By virtue of being freely diffusable intracellularly and being reduced in failing myocardial tissue, cAMP is reduced in certain important cardiac myocyte subcellular compartments such as the microdomain occupied by phospholamban.

  • Patent number: 10726071
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage medium, for predicting an outcome in response to a detected event. In one aspect, the method includes actions of maintaining a database of data records with a knowledge graph, receiving a stream of real-time data that includes data records, and from time-to-time as the real-time data is received: identifying a set of one or more attributes associated with a real-time event represented by one of the data records received, identifying a data record in the knowledge graph representing an event-outcome pair, determining that an event of the event-outcome pair has historically been associated with triggering an outcome of the event-outcome pair, and, executing a set of rules defining logic associated with the event-outcome pair specifying that the outcome will occur at a time that is subsequent to a time in which the one of the data records is received.

  • Publication number: 20200183498
Abstract: A method for improving a display of a user interface element in a mixed reality environment is disclosed. A request to display the user interface element is received. The request includes display instructions, angle threshold data, distance threshold data, and velocity threshold data. Display operations are continuously performed while sensor data is continuously received from a mixed reality user interface device. The display operations include displaying the user interface element according to the display instructions, and, based on the sensor data indicating a distance between the user interface element and the mixed reality user interface device in the mixed reality environment has exceeded a distance threshold or based on the sensor data indicating an angle of view of the mixed reality user interface device has exceeded an angle threshold with respect to the user interface element in the mixed reality environment, hiding the user interface element.

  • Patent number: 10668487
Abstract: A separator device for removing particles from suspension in a fluid includes first and second fluid-carrying portions and a non-fluid-carrying spacer for linking the first and second fluid-carrying portions. Each of the fluid-carrying portions includes a socket for receiving an open end of a pipe and a connector for connection of the filter. The socket of the first fluid-carrying portion has a pipe receiving depth greater than that of the socket of the second fluid-carrying portion. The sockets of the first and second fluid-carrying portions are positioned on a common axis and facing away from each other when the fluid-carrying portions are linked by the spacer.

  • Publication number: 20200044382
Abstract: An electro-mechanical connection is of the type of a “hot stab” connection. The connection also includes a jagged surface in the form of a scraper, which is capable of cutting through a deposit that could otherwise excessively increase the electrical resistance across the connection. The connection can be used underwater and installed by a diver or ROV, for example, for connecting cathodic protection to a subsea structure.

  • Patent number: 10532783
Abstract: An apparatus for lifting and rotating a frame of a motor vehicle includes a rotisserie and a rotatably connected fixture that holds the motor vehicle frame during production. The fixture includes clamps extending from arms of the fixture and clamps extending from the front support for affixing the frame of the motor vehicle to the fixture. The fixture may further include a passive lock mechanism for engaging a side sill of the frame that includes a latch, a locking extension, a latch spring that holds the latch in engagement with the frame, and a pendulum that rotates relative to the fixture but remains oriented in a fixed location relative to horizontal. The latch may only be disengaged from the frame when the locking extension is aligned to be received by a slot in the pendulum when the fixture is rotated to the home location.
