  • Patent number: 11955021
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a method and system (10) for classifying vehicle behaviour, particularly abnormal behaviour of civil aircraft (12). The method may comprise receiving aircraft data from an aircraft (12) which is to be classified; and determining whether the received aircraft data comprises identification information for the aircraft (12). In response to a determination that the received aircraft data comprises identification information, the method may comprise using said identification information to classify the behaviour of the aircraft (12). In response to a determination that the received aircraft data does not comprises identification information, the method may comprise obtaining the position of the aircraft and comparing the obtained position to an expected route for the aircraft to classify the behaviour of the aircraft (12).

  • Patent number: 11944770
Abstract: An expandable introducer sheath with an interlock dilator. The present technology provides an expandable sheath with a step feature inside its distal opening, and a dilator with an interlock that includes a catch surface configured to engage with the step feature and resist further relative movement so that the body of the dilator is prevented from exiting the distal end of the expandable sheath. This interlocking engagement may allow the dilator to be used to extend and maintain tension on the expandable sheath during insertion into a patient, and then to be retracted from the expandable sheath by pulling the dilator in the opposite direction. The present technology also provides a dilator hub with a spring mechanism configured to achieve and maintain a desired tension on the expandable sheath and to prevent overextension of the expandable sheath when the dilator is being inserted into the expandable sheath.

  • Publication number: 20240104338
Abstract: A method comprising: sampling a temporal causal graph from a temporal graph distribution specifying probabilities of directed causal edges between different variables of a feature vector at a present time step, and from one variable at a preceding time step to another variables at the present time step. Based on this there are identified: a present parent which is a cause of the selected variable in the present time step, and a preceding parent which is a cause of the selected variable from the preceding time step. The method then comprises: inputting a value of each identified present and preceding parent into a respective encoder, resulting in a respective embedding of each of the present and preceding parents; combining the embeddings of the present and preceding parents, resulting in a combined embedding; inputting the combined embedding into a decoder, resulting in a reconstructed value of the selected variable.

  • Publication number: 20240106853
Abstract: Techniques are described for improving real-time application protection (RTAP) systems (e.g., web application firewalls (WAFs), runtime application self-protection (RASP) systems). In particular, a device within a trusted network may monitor or test the configuration settings of the RTAP systems, network traffic into the RTAP systems, and/or log information from the RTAP systems. For example, the device may detect drift in a configuration for a particular RTAP system by comparing the configuration settings of the RTAP systems to baseline configuration settings and classifying any detected drift as good drift or bad drift. In some examples, the device may maintain the configuration settings or set the configuration settings as the baseline configuration settings when the configurations settings include good drift from the baseline configuration settings. In other examples, the device may set the configuration settings with the bad drift to the baseline configuration settings.

  • Publication number: 20240095645
Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

  • Publication number: 20240094726
Abstract: A system having components coupled to an aircraft that measure the navigational state and state uncertainty of an aircraft. To do so, the aircraft captures an image of its surrounding environment including an object of interest and applies one or more machine vision models to the image. One or more of the models determine if the image is acceptable, in that it determines if an object of interest is represented in the image. One or more of the models determine a calibrated uncertainty based on information extracted previously labelled images and current measurements of navigational state and uncertainty. One or more of the models determine a protection level for the aircraft and determines an operational system of the aircraft is available to perform a navigational action based on the protection level (e.g., by comparing protection level to an alert level).

  • Patent number: 11934278
Abstract: A data storage library is described that protects against a malware attack by providing a scheduled write window of time where archive data can be written to tape cartridges in the tape library on behalf of a client. At times outside of the write window, the tape library is disabled from writing any archive data to any of the tape cartridges in the tape library. Accordingly, the tape library is protected from a malicious entity attempting to download malware to tape cartridges in the tape library outside of the designated write windows. The tape library is configured to provide or otherwise read archived data from a tape cartridge both in the write window and outside of the write window.
