  • Patent number: 11523498
Abstract: A circuit board heat sink structure having a circuit board and comprising a metallic heat sink, wherein the circuit board has a metal substrate, an insulation layer and a conductor layer, and the wherein the circuit board is arranged on the heat sink in such a way that the metal substrate contacts a locating face of the heat sink. At least one heat transition point is formed between the heat sink and the metal substrate, which provides a defined metallic contact between the material of the heat sink and the material of the metal substrate. A method is also provided for forming the circuit board heat sink structure.

  • Publication number: 20220186647
Abstract: A heating device for an exhaust system has an electrically conductive foamed part and at least one stabilization part for the foamed part. The foamed part includes two end faces, an outer circumference and at least one recess starting from the outer circumference and extending in the axial direction from one to the other end face. The recesses produce sections which are opposite each other at a distance and continue into each other, forming a current path as a resistance heating element. The stabilization part at least partially fills the recess and mechanically couples the sections to each other, but does not electrically couple them to each other.

  • Publication number: 20220174787
Abstract: A heating device for an exhaust system has an electrically conductive heating component through which exhaust gas to be treated can flow and which is formed by one or more current-carrying lines forming a current path in the form of a resistance heating element. In addition, the heating device has at least one stabilization part which extends over at least a portion of the heating component, is arranged so as to be offset in the flow direction in relation to the heating component, and is mechanically coupled to the heating component in order to stabilize the latter in the flow direction.

  • Patent number: 10900630
Abstract: A headlight, in particular a headlight of a motor vehicle, having at least one first light source for a high beam, which emits light during operation of the headlight, and a first light guide having at least one light entry surface for the light emerging from the at least one first light source and at least one light exit surface, and at least one second light source for a low beam, which emits light during operation of the headlight, and a second light guide, which has at least one light entry surface for the light, emerging from the at least one second light source, and at least one light exit surface.

  • Patent number: 9452704
Abstract: A lighting device for vehicles having an optical fiber including a flat segment with two opposing flat sides, a light decoupling area, and a light coupling area. The light decoupling area in which light relayed by the flat sides is output in the primary direction of emission. The light coupling area couples the light into the optical fiber, and is arranged on a free end of a light coupling element which is perpendicular to the flat segment and projects from the same. A deflection structure is arranged between the light coupling element and the flat segment for the purpose of deflecting the light toward the flat segment. A rigid circuit board runs parallel to the flat segment. The circuit board is configured with a number of light sources which are each functionally assigned to the light coupling elements.
