  • Publication number: 20240153037
Abstract: A method and system for correcting a difference in contrast agent density in a sequence of contrast-enhanced image frames. A reference image frame is defined in the sequence of contrast-enhanced image frames, and segmentation is performed on the reference image frame to determine a location of a region of interest within the reference image frame. The region of interest is a region of the reference image frame that contains contrast agent. Other image frames in the sequence of contrast-enhanced images are corrected based on a difference in contrast agent density/image intensity in the region of interest relative to the region of interest in the reference image frame.

  • Patent number: 10685152
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present invention are directed to systems and methods for simulating sparse fluids and visualizing the results. An example embodiment involves simulating sparse fluids on a two-dimensional surface and using that simulation to visualize the results on a three dimensional surface. The fluid computation operates in a two-dimensional (2D) plane although the visualization of the fluid simulation is three-dimensional (3D). The simulation uses surface shape and properties, local gravity vectors, and various other criteria to simulate realistic behavior of sparse fluids, e.g., sweat, tears, blood, and drops of liquid. The systems and methods of the present invention may be implemented, for example, on a highly parallel architecture, such as a graphics processing unit (GPU), and on non-parallel architectures.

  • Patent number: 10126419
Abstract: In a method for initializing at least one network segment of a network for the wireless location of movable locating objects arranged in a limited space using pulsed radio signals, wherein the at least one network segment in the limited space has at least two spaced apart reference nodes which form a chain-shaped communication network and which are autarkic in terms of communication, wherein a locating object arranged in the limited space is able to be located using one of the distance-based trilateration carried out by at least three reference nodes, and wherein general information is communicated by broadcast channels, the reference nodes listen to the broadcast channels in a standby position until initial information about their active participation in the communication network is received.

  • Publication number: 20160127319
Abstract: A computer system for evaluating transactions in a network includes a storage medium, one or more processors coupled to said storage medium, and computer code stored in said storage medium. Computer code, when retrieved from said storage medium and executed by said one or more processor, causes the system to receive a plurality of transactions over the network, and automatically generating rules for evaluating the transactions, using the computer system. Each of the rules includes variables and partition of values of the variables, each partition having an assigned score. The computer system also automatically combining the rule scores to form a final score.

  • Patent number: 7210872
Abstract: A connection element of the present invention has several jaw sidewalls that are oriented in different directions, whereby two jaw sidewalls at a time can be braced against each other to receive a component part. At least one jaw sidewall can be set so that it is adjustable on the connection element and this jaw sidewall projects by a lateral leg into the inside of the connection element. There is in active connection with an adjustment element that is to be activated from the outside in a direction to brace or detach the jaw sidewall.
