  • Patent number: 4452233
Abstract: A solar energy collector of the kind which heats a fluid employs removable energy transfer tubes having an outer glass envelope and an evacuated space between the envelope and an inner metal tube. A manifold is provided to which is connected a number of inner elongate metal tubes having an open end over which are then arranged the energy transfer tubes. The inner metal tubes and the energy transfer tubes form an annular space which is provided with helical fluid flow channels to increase the thermal energy transfer from the radiant solar energy to the fluid. The energy transfer tubes are removable and are not installed on the operable system until the mechanical mounting and fluid connections are made at the operational location.

  • Patent number: 3982631
Abstract: A dispenser container wherein magnetizable needles, tools, or the like, are mounted upon a magnet element secured pivotally to the interior of the container by means of a fabric hinge. The pivoting motion of the magnetic bar is produced by the alternating forward and retracting movements of the cover or closure element for the container whereby the needles move into a substantially horizontal position when the container is closed. When the cover is retracted, the pivoting motion of the magnet induced by gravity causes the needles to move pivotally whereby the freely extending forward portions thereof extend externally of the container to facilitate individual selection.

  • Patent number: 3948528
Abstract: A carrying bag or tote bag to the exterior sides of which is removably attached a flexible wrap-around element which, on its exterior surface, is impressed or otherwise applied the design of a game board, or the like. The wrap-around element can be detached from the bag and extended flat on a suitable plane surface to form a game board upon which the game can be played. The design of the game board on the wrap-around element serves also as a decorative feature of the bag.
