  • Publication number: 20240159697
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for predicting the restart of paraffinic oil flow by being able to estimate the precipitated paraffin fraction under conditions of production stoppage through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) tests and rheological evaluation, to predict the yield stress (TLE) profiles in pipes containing gelled paraffinic petroleum and the time interval until line blockage formation (available waiting time—TED).

  • Publication number: 20240093516
Abstract: A pre-assembled climbing scaffold that allows executing building construction works with activities related to formwork and concrete placement. The scaffold includes a movement system with cart (70) presenting vertical aligners (71) connected with horizontal aligners (81) (82) located across a gang panel (80), which has an upper guardrail system (90); in front of the gang panel (80) it presents a vertical guardrail (10) connected to a frame (30), where the frame supports a work platform (20) in a horizontal position.

  • Patent number: 8565564
Abstract: An optical fiber cable for bundled drop applications has a plurality of optical fiber sub-units stranded together in an S-Z lay configuration and a jacket surrounding and holding the sub-units in the S-Z configuration without assistance from binder threads. The jacket contacts at least some of the sub-units and has one, but preferably at least two, longitudinally disposed grooves on an external surface. With at least two grooves, the sub-units are accessed by bending the cable until the jacket buckles between the grooves, cutting the jacket at the buckle, and peeling back a portion of the jacket longitudinally between the grooves.

  • Patent number: 6034949
Abstract: Program-controlled evaluation device for a message-oriented layer-3 communication between a communication switching installation and a peripheral installation of a communication device, using a first protocol, as well as for a message-oriented layer-3 communication between the communication switching installation and a terminal apparatus, using a second protocol via the peripheral installation. The first and the second protocol consist of function blocks (ADM, MAIN, TEST, REST, LINK, BCAST, LCE, MM, CC) identified through protocol discriminators. Each protocol message of the first and of the second protocol contains a protocol discriminator indicator. The evaluation device has a single main sequence control for function block-specific, table-controlled evaluation of the first and of the second protocol, using a protocol discriminator-dependent branching. As a peripheral installation, for example, a base station of a cellular communication device with wirelessly reachable terminal apparatus is provided.
