  • Patent number: 9811920
Abstract: A digital image processing circuit processes macro-pixels of a digital image. A gain control parameter of each pixel of the macro-pixel of the digital image is determined based on a location of the pixel in the digital image. Relative pixel positions of the pixels of the macro-pixel are determined, the relative pixel positions representing pixel positions with respect to color grids. A gain value of each pixel of the macro-pixel is determined based on the relative pixel positions. The gain values are modified based on the gain control parameters. The modified gains are applied to the pixels of the macro-pixel.

  • Patent number: 9652502
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system that provide a continuous querying mechanism that analyses real-time data streams to generate relevant results. It leverages data grid and event processing technology to provide a high performance and extremely scalable continuous querying solution. An embodiment of the invention provides a flexible querying language and data storage to allow users to register their interest in specific types of data, e.g. processes. The users are notified of matching results using an event-based mechanism. In order to efficiently analyze a large amount of data, the embodiment uses a grid infrastructure that allows storage of the data across many grid nodes and distributes the query execution workload, avoiding the bottleneck represented by constantly querying a database. Continuous queries are stored in a Continuous Query Registry and that Registry is invoked every time an insert or update event occurs on the triple store.

  • Publication number: 20150172320
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system which provides access control and access control enforcement particularly in relation to business process data streams. Embodiments of the invention provide a method and a set of components (referred to as: Policy Administration Point, Policy Enforcement Point, Filter Updater, Log De-Multiplexer) for fast online filtering of process logs based on access rights. In one embodiment the method comprises a series of steps to (i) encode each user's access rights to the process log in a machine readable format (ii) use such encoding together with incoming process events to compute a custom online filter to be applied to the process log as it is being recorded (iii) execute logical log de-multiplexing, enabling each user to query, inspect and monitor a separate event flow.

  • Patent number: 8076300
Abstract: FGF2-binding peptides are here described, which have been designed starting from the N-terminal region of PTX3, in particular spanning the PTX3(82-11O) region. Synthetic peptides related to this sequence are able to bind FGF2 and to inhibit its pro-angiogenic activity in vitro and in vivo with no anticipated impact on innate immunity.
