The welding unit has a welding housing configured to accommodate the reinforcing element and the pleated capsule body coaxially during welding. The welder, preferably with fixed geometry, is coaxial with respect to the welding housing and configured to be inserted within the welding housing and to weld the reinforcing element to the pleated capsule body. The welding housing acts as a counter element for the welder during welding. The welding unit has elastic means coupled to the welding housing in such a way that said welding housing is elastically movable and/or elastically deformable by the thrust of the welder.

Abstract: A machine and method for arranging objects comprising a first end with a protruding edge and a second end, on the opposite side of the protruding edge, in an alternate manner along single file rows. A guide guides objects in a single file row to a separator for receiving and separating the objects into a first and a second group and for alternately feeding the first and the second group to a collector and dropping device configured for rotating the objects of the first group and the second group according to a predetermined orientation and for stacking the objects one above the other in an alternate manner along single file rows.

Abstract: Described are a method and a system for the production of beverages by means of a capsule (C1, C2, C3, C4) and a container (A) adapted to house the capsule during the production. The capsule comprises a reinforcement ring (102, 202, 302, 402) which comprises a side wall (103, 203, 303, 403) and a ledge (104, 204, 304, 404) protruding from the side wall. A seal is provided between at least a portion of the side wall of the reinforcement ring and at least a portion of the inner surface (17) of the side wall (5) of the container so as to avoid the leak of the beverage from the interface between the reinforcement ring and the container.

Abstract: A method and a packaging machine for packaging objects in a stiff package, for example in a carton box or in a box, the stiff package comprising a right flap, a left flap, an upper flap and a lower flap. After folding the right, left, and lower flaps in closed position, the upper flap is kept in a semi-closed position so as to only partially overlap the closed lower flap. Glue is then applied to the closed lower flap or semi-closed upper flap. After applying the glue, the upper flap is brought in closed position so that it is fixed to the lower flap. The application of the glue to the lower flap in closed position or to the upper flap in semi-closed position allows adjusting the squaring of the package immediately before bringing the upper flap from the semi-closed position to the closed position, i.e., immediately before fixing the flaps and closing the package.

Abstract: A reinforcement ring for capsules for obtaining beverages, for example coffee, comprising a side wall and a flat surface, preferably having a uniform thickness, protruding from the side wall. The reinforcement ring is characterized in that the side wall comprises a groove at the extremity opposite the flat surface, so as to reduce the thickness of the side wall at the extremity and to reduce the total amount of material used to produce the reinforcement ring. The reinforcement ring can be used to reinforce the body of a capsule for obtaining beverages for example made of a filtering material. A machine for welding the reinforcement ring to the capsule body and to a system for producing beverages comprising a container into which the capsule with the reinforcement ring is inserted during the step of supplying pressurized water.

The packages are formed by means of a forming tube (210), by forming a tubular structure of flexible material (300) wound around the forming tube. The reversible closing system is applied to the film of flexible material so that the support is fixed inside the packages. The application of the reversible closing system is performed when the film is wound around the forming tube.
