    Abstract: The present invention relates to a magnetic gearshift system including a first permanent-magnet multipolar magnetic rotor, a second permanent-magnet multipolar magnetic rotor and a first magnetic or ferromagnetic modulator. According to one aspect of the present invention, the first modulator is configured for taking a first position, corresponding with the first permanent-magnet multipolar magnetic rotor, wherein the first modulator is adapted to modulate the transmission of the first permanent-magnet multipolar magnetic rotor, and a second position, corresponding with the second permanent-magnet multipolar magnetic rotor, wherein the first modulator is adapted to modulate the transmission of the second permanent-magnet multipolar magnetic rotor.
