  • Publication number: 20240168953
Abstract: A top K query directed at a table is received. The table is organized into multiple storage units. The top K query comprises a first clause to sort a result set in order and a second clause that specifies a limit on a number of results provided in response to the query. A table scan operator identifies a first set of rows from the table based on a scan set determined for the table and provides the first set of rows to a top K operator. The top K operator determines a current boundary based on the first set of rows and provides the current boundary to the table scan operator. The table scan operator prunes the scan set based on the current boundary and identifies a second set of rows from the table based on the pruning.

  • Patent number: 11897024
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a structure for electrically-connecting an external conductor. The structure comprises a wiring-substrate comprising a stack based arrangement of a plurality of layers, wherein said layers are defined as electrically conducting layers and insulating layer. A rivet is supported from the wiring substrate and comprises an embedded portion within the wiring substrate. The embedded portion comprises: an upper section extending through the stack of the plurality of layers, and, a bottom section extending laterally with reference to the upper section. A portion protruding from wiring substrate is provided for receiving an external-conductor and for thereby electrically connecting with the wiring substrate.

  • Patent number: 11716042
Abstract: The present subject matter refers a discharge circuit for a smoothing capacitor within a power-distribution-unit. The discharge circuit comprises a first sub-circuit connected in parallel to a DC-Link capacitor, said first sub-circuit in turn comprises a series connection of a first switching element (SE) and a first discharge resistor, wherein the DC-link capacitor is connected in parallel to a power supply. A second sub-circuit is connected in parallel to the DC-Link capacitor and comprises a series connection of a second switching element (SE) and a second discharge resistor. A control device is configured to control the plurality of SEs within the sub-circuits by scheduling switching of the plurality of SEs. Such scheduling comprises switching ON of the second SE after a switching ON of the first SE for enabling a discharging of the DC link capacitor within a predetermined duration.
