Publication number: 20240133847Abstract: A device and method for analyzing structures within a medium. The device may include: at least one acoustic signal transmitter and acoustic signal receiver configured to output an acoustic signal and to receive an acoustic signal; an analyzer configured to analyze received acoustic data; a signal modifier configured to modify the acoustic signal of the acoustic signal transmitter or acoustic signal receiver; and control circuitry for controlling analysis of the structure. The control circuitry is configured to: initiate analysis of a first portion of the structure by controlling the signal modifier to apply a signal modification to the transmitter or the receiver to modify respective acoustic signals according to first modification data; and initiate analysis of a second portion of the structure by controlling the signal modifier to apply a signal modification to the transmitter or the receiver to modify respective acoustic signals according to second modification data.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 21, 2022Publication date: April 25, 2024Applicant: Cereus Ultrasonics LimitedInventors: Mark Tanner, Paul Easton, Max Hadley

Publication number: 20240125231Abstract: A device and method for analyzing structures within a borehole is disclosed. The device comprises: a medium determiner for determining a medium surrounding the device; at least one acoustic signal transmitter and acoustic signal receiver configured to output an acoustic signal and to receive an acoustic signal; and a signal modifier configured to modify at least one of a phase and amplitude of the acoustic signal at at least one of the acoustic signal transmitter and acoustic signal receiver. The signal modifier is configured to receive a medium indicator signal from the medium determiner indicative of the medium surrounding the device and to apply a signal modification to at least one of the at least one acoustic signal transmitter and acoustic signal receiver in dependence upon the medium indicator signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 21, 2022Publication date: April 18, 2024Applicant: Cereus Ultrasonics LimitedInventors: Mark Tanner, Paul Easton, Max Hadley

Publication number: 20240106862Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for providing a virtual cloud workload protection platform. One method may include determining, by a device, whether a data stream is approved or unapproved; and transmitting, by the device, a fetch request to a renderer requesting a network resource requested by a protected client. Another method may include receiving, by a rendering device, a fetch request from a device requesting at least one network resource requested by a protected client; requesting, by the rendering device, the requested at least one requested resource; and rendering, by the rendering device, the at least one requested resource.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 26, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Tommy Joe HEAD, Blake DUMAS, Jeremy HAMLYN, Jay PICKETT, Max Tanner THOMAS, Stephen BLYSTONE, S Tanner Kline, A. Patent number: 8113067Abstract: A pipette and a process for producing a pipette (10) with a capacity of from 1 to 50 ml from a thermoplastic polymer. An essentially cylindrical pipette shaft (12) with an internal diameter (di) and an essentially cylindrical cup-shaped pipette reservoir (16) with an internal diameter (Di) are produced in an injection molding process. The pipette shaft (12) has, at one end, a pipette tip (14) which narrows to a suction/exit orifice (20), and, at the other end, a conical widening (18). The pipette reservoir (16) has a suction nozzle (24) abutting coaxially from the bottom of the pipette reservoir (16). The conical widening (18) is welded or adhesive-bonded at the end and coaxially to the pipette reservoir (16). The ratio of the total pipette length (L) to the arithmetic mean of the internal diameters (di and Di) of the pipette shaft (12) and of the pipette reservoir (16) is at least 15. The pipette may have a suction nozzle (24) with a retainer, such as a radially inward jutting rib (34) for a cotton wool bud.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2006Date of Patent: February 14, 2012Assignee: TPP Techno Plastic Products AGInventor: Max Tanner

Patent number: 6241100Abstract: The present invention comprises a novel roller for use on agricultural produce grading, sorting, cleaning and conveying equipment. The roller comprises a cylindrical hub having protruding fingers thereon which extend outward from the hub in a direction perpendicular to the hub axis and inclined away from the direction of rotation of the hub. The roller further comprises lateral support shoulders which allow the fingers to flex properly in the direction of rotation while providing increased rigidity in a lateral direction to improve grading opening uniformity and consistency. A concave shape on the outer surface of these lateral support shoulders also defines an improved grading opening shape which serves to increase grading uniformity as well. A smooth surface to the grading opening surfaces also prevent accumulation of mud and dirt in the critical grading opening area.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 1999Date of Patent: June 5, 2001Assignee: E. M. Tanner & Sons, Inc.Inventors: Harvey Tanner, Max Tanner, Danny Mitchell

Patent number: 5581918Abstract: In an apparatus for stretching out a rectangular gauze material or the like cloth portion in a printing frame with tensioning devices which are arranged at the sides thereof and in which the cloth portion is fixed by a respective clamping mouth comprising clamping jaws (32, 36) which are movable relative to each other and which can be applied against each other on the closing travel of a closing lever under a pressing pressure and then the cloth portion is tensioned by a change in position of the clamping mouth units, caused by a piston/cylinder unit for a flow medium, in the pulling direction, when the clamping jaws (32, 36) are brought together the closing travel which is determined by the closing lever (50) is followed by a further closing travel and same is controlled by a piston rod. In addition the piston rod is to be part of the piston/cylinder unit for the pulling movement of the stretching device (16).Type: GrantFiled: October 25, 1994Date of Patent: December 10, 1996Assignee: Sefar AGInventors: Christian Schilling, Max Tanner
