Patent number: 11738627Abstract: A tonneau cover system for a vehicle includes at least two panels configured to collaboratively form a container. The at least two panels extend laterally when connected to a tonneau of the vehicle. A first panel is movable between an open position and a closed position to gain access to an interior space defined by the container. In the closed position, the first panel extends parallel to a floor of the tonneau. A second panel is selectively placed in a cover or a storage position. In the cover position, the second panel extends parallel to the floor to collaboratively cover at least part of the tonneau. In the storage position, the second panel extends perpendicular to the first panel in the closed position. The first and second panels collaboratively form the container when the first panel is in the closed position and the second panel is in the storage position.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2020Date of Patent: August 29, 2023Assignee: BOMBARDIER RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS INC.Inventors: Eric Fournier, Hugo Martin, Maxime Dumont, Pierre-Luc Robillard, Michel Bourassa

Patent number: 11530643Abstract: The disclosed technology concerns an aircraft turbomachine part comprising a part body drilled with at least one cavity open to the outside and at least one conduit joining the cavity on the one hand and leading to the outside on the other hand. Each cavity receives a pressure sensor, and the conduit corresponds to the cavity guides the cables connected to the sensor to the outside of the part body. The part is an aircraft turbomachine vane.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2019Date of Patent: December 20, 2022Assignee: SAFRAN AERO BOOSTERS S.A.Inventors: Nicolas Raimarckers, Maxime Dumont, Rafael Perez, Frédéric Vallino

Publication number: 20220298666Abstract: A process for the making of metallic product with biocidal properties is disclosed, and first comprises anodizing a product having at least one metallic surface (e.g. aluminum, steel) using a controlled current density to form pores on the surfaces with controlled spatial density and depth. The process also comprises contacting the anodized metallic surfaces with a first biocidal solution before sealing the pores. Preferably, the metallic surfaces can be contacted again with the first biocidal solution after the sealing step. A method for reactivating biocidal properties of the metallic products is also disclosed, and comprises contacting again the biocidal product with a second biocidal solution. Preferably, the second solution is less concentrated than the first solution for safety sake. The invention provides a simpler, quicker, cheaper and improved process for treating or reactivating the metallic surfaces in order to obtain a metallic product having superior and enduring biocidal properties.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 9, 2022Publication date: September 22, 2022Applicant: A3 SURFACES INC.Inventors: Maxime DUMONT, Jocelyn LAMBERT, Guy LEBLANC, Martin LAMBERT, Michel LAVOIE, Jean-Pierre COLLARD, Myriam AUCLAIR-GILBERT, Simon GAGNON

Patent number: 11352092Abstract: A vehicle including a front module including a front wheel and a rear module selectively moveably connected to the front module, the rear module including a rear wheel. The vehicle further includes an electric motor assembly, a mode selector, at least one extension assembly connected between the front module and the rear module for selectively extending and retracting to provide a selective variation in an overall length of the vehicle; and a vehicle control unit being communicatively connected between the mode selector and the electric motor assembly. The vehicle control unit performs a method for selectively changing the overall vehicle length. The method includes receiving from the mode selector an indication to change the overall length, determining that the front wheel is rotationally locked, and causing an electric motor to drive the rear wheel such that the rear module translates relative to the front module.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2020Date of Patent: June 7, 2022Assignee: BOMBARDIER RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS INC.Inventors: Vincent Froidevaux, Eric Fournier, Maxime Dumont
