  • Publication number: 20220318079
Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for processing excess event messages using a mobile application, comprising rendering, via the mobile application, a first view displaying first state information of a control panel configured to receive event information from one or more sensors in a physical location. The implementations further include controlling, data flow of a plurality of event messages generated by the control panel. Additionally, the implementations further include selecting one or more event messages of the plurality of event messages from the processing queue based on a dispatch timer and a dispatch threshold. Additionally, the implementations further include generating a second view based on processing of the one or more event messages and blocking processing of the processing queue. Additionally, the implementations further include rendering the second view displaying second state information of the control panel.

  • Publication number: 20220321396
Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for synchronizing an event monitoring application with an event monitoring service, comprising receiving, from the event monitoring service, based on subscribing to a control panel, a current state of the control panel. In addition, the implementations further include receiving, based on the subscribing, a first event message from the control panel. Further, the implementations further include determining, in response to a conflict between the first event message and the current state of the control panel, an updated state of the control panel based on comparing a first attribute of the first event message to a second attribute of a second event message of the current state of the control panel. Additionally, the implementations further include displaying the updated state of the control panel.

  • Patent number: 10937285
Abstract: A signaling device control system includes a user interface and an association mapper. The user interface presents a user interface tool including one or more features of a building and receives inputs indicating a boundary of the building, a predetermined equation parameter, (iii) an initiating device assigned to a space defined by the boundary, and a signaling device assigned to the space defined by boundary. The association mapper generates a response function defining a response of the signaling device to a detection signal outputted by the initiating device based on the inputs, and outputs instructions to at least one of the signaling device and a fire control panel that controls operation of the signaling device to cause the signaling device to execute the response defined by the response function in response to the detection signal.

  • Patent number: 7667577
Abstract: An emergency evacuation and fire safety system has a plurality of signal devices. The clock source frequencies are tuned using the method and system such that the signals flash in synchronization continuously at a preset flashing interval upon detecting an alarm condition. A synchronization signal including a calibrated time position is broadcast at each predetermined time interval to all notification appliances. A time difference is computed between a local time position and the received calibrated time position by each of the notification appliances at each predetermined time interval and tuning the flashing of each of the one or more notification appliances by adjusting the preset flashing interval based on the computed time difference by each of the one or more associated notification appliances.
