  • Patent number: 11988720
Abstract: A semiconductor device that detects deterioration of a secondary battery is provided. The semiconductor device includes a power gauge, an anomalous current detection circuit, and a control circuit. The power gauge includes a current divider circuit and an integrator circuit. The anomalous current detection circuit includes a first memory, a second memory, and a first comparator. The integrator circuit can convert a detection current detected at the current divider circuit into a detection voltage by integrating the detection current. The anomalous current detection circuit is supplied with the detection voltage, a first signal at a first time, and a second signal at a second time. The first signal can make the detection voltage at the first time be stored in the first memory and the second signal can make the detection voltage at the second time be stored in the second memory.

  • Publication number: 20240000824
Abstract: The disclosure relates to synthetic oligonucleotides that bind at least a portion of a dimerization initiation site (DIS) of a retrovirus genomic ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecule. In some aspects, the synthetic oligonucleotides include a 2?-deoxy-2?-fluoroarabinonucleotide (2?-FANA)-modified nucleotide sequence. In some embodiments, the 2?-FANA-modified nucleotide sequence inhibits dimerization of retroviral genomes (e.g., an HIV genome). Other embodiments include methods of inhibiting expression of a retrovirus using the synthetic oligonucleotide, and methods of treating or preventing a retroviral infection.

  • Patent number: 7336955
Abstract: When a location-area MSC 20 receives an SMS originating signal, an interrogating unit 21 sends an SRIforSM signal including the MSISDN of a receiving terminal 10b to an HLR 30. When the location-area MSC 20 receives an SRIforSMack signal from the HLR 30, a subscriber-identification-information obtaining unit 22 obtains an IMUI contained in the SRIforSMack. An on-origination carrier identifying unit 23 identifies from the IMUI the carrier to which the receiving terminal 10b subscribes. The location-area MSC 20 determines whether the carriers have an SMS interconnection agreement with each other, on the basis of identification made by an on-origination carrier identifying unit 23.

  • Publication number: 20050143076
Abstract: There are provided an interconnection agreement determining system, apparatus, and method capable of accurately determining whether the carrier to which an originating communication terminal subscribes and the carrier to which a receiving communication terminal subscribes have a short message interconnection agreement with each other, even if the receiving communication terminal uses number portability. When a location-area MSC 20 receives an SMS originating signal, an interrogating unit 21 sends an SRIforSM signal including the MSISDN of a receiving terminal 10b to an HLR 30. When the location-area MSC 20 receives an SRIforSMack signal from the HLR 30, a subscriber-identification-information obtaining unit 22 obtains an IMUI contained in the SRIforSMack. • Patent number: 5812821
Abstract: Disclosed is a data processing apparatus that has two or more internal SCSI devices, to include a SCSI controller, that can also accommodate eternal SCSI devices via a port connector and that can manage the ID numbers (identification numbers) of the internal SCSI devices separately from all the other SCSI devices without requiring any action by a user; and a method for controlling such a data processing apparatus. According to the present invention, ID numbers can be written into internal SCSI devices. ID numbers that do not collide with the ID numbers of the externally connected SCSI devices are assigned to the respective internal SCSI devices. The system can automatically write the ID numbers during the booting process or when the system configuration is physically changed. Even when there are SCSI hard disk drives installed both inside and outside the system, the ID numbers of the SCSI hard disk drives that are internally positioned can be read so that the internal SCSI hard disk drives can be designated.
