  • Patent number: 11968983
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a tobacco leaf foliar spraying substance for reducing harmful ingredients in cheroot, a method for reducing carcinogenic components in flue-cured tobacco leaves and flue-cured tobacco shreds. The tobacco leaf foliar spraying substance contains a lotus leaf extract, the harmful chemical ingredients comprise N-nitrosonornicotine, 4-(N-methyl-nitrosamine)-1-(3-pyridinyl)-1-butanone, N-nitrosoanabasine and N-nitrosoanatabine. Foliar spraying is performed on a fertile field by using the lotus leaf extract before tobacco leaves are harvested and modulated, which not only significantly promotesagronomic characters and economic traits of tobacco and alleviates tobacco leaf browning but also effectively reduces harmful chemical ingredients unique to tobacco leaves, such as nitrosamine and nicotine.

  • Publication number: 20230012784
Abstract: In an approach, a processor identifies a plurality of text separators in a borderless table, a text separator of the plurality of text separators defining a non-text region between two consecutive text lines in the borderless table. A processor classifies the plurality of text separators into a number of target clusters comprised in a target group based on property information related to the plurality of text separators, the number of target clusters corresponding to a number of separator types. A processor provides indication information to indicate respective separator types of the plurality of text separators based on a result of the classifying.

  • Patent number: 11487856
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for enhancing security access to a data processing system. Responsive to authenticating a first factor of the multi-factor authentication by matching a scanned fingerprint/thumbprint of a user to at least one previously scanned fingerprint/thumbprint in a set of previously scanned fingerprints/thumbprints, a determination is made as to whether a touch pressure level exerted by the user on a touch pressure sensor associated with the data processing system matches at least one previously stored touch pressure level in a set of previously stored touch pressure levels. Responsive to matching the touch pressure level exerted by the user to a previously stored touch pressure level in the set of previously stored touch pressure levels, a second factor of the multi-factor authentication is authenticated. Access is then granted for the user to the data processing system.

  • Patent number: 11276250
Abstract: In an approach, data of a plurality of points is sampled in a target area, wherein the data of each point of the plurality of points comprises position information and a height value. A first area of a target area is determined, wherein the height value of each point of the plurality of points in the first area complies with a first range. A second area of the target area is determined, wherein the height value of each point of the plurality of points in the second area complies with a second range. A third area of the target area is determined, wherein the height value of each point of the plurality of points in the third area complies with a third range. A first pattern is generated, wherein the first pattern is a combination of the first area and the third area.

  • Publication number: 20150318274
Abstract: An input protection circuit for protecting components of an input circuit. The input protection circuit includes a resettable fuse that functions as a current limit integrated circuit to maintain a maximum current so that the circuit can function in a normal operating range with less current. A Zener diode can measure the circuit's voltage and control a metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSEFT) to avoid impact with the analog signal input. The MOSEFT is open if a voltage input is less than a Zener diode breakdown voltage. The Zener diode breakdowns the current flow directly into a ground via the MOSEFT if the voltage input is higher than the Zener diode breakdown voltage. The resettable fuse will shut down until the resettable fuse is reset if the current is higher than the resettable fuse trip current. The protect circuit restarts after the resettable fuse is reset.

  • Publication number: 20060268679
Abstract: A network that is architectured to distributively be responsible for remedying failures achieves advantageous operation. This is accomplished by algorithmically and distributively assigning the responsibility for recovery from all failures to different network nodes and by re-routing traffic at the failed point though network elements in close topological proximity to the failed point. Each node maintains an awareness of the spare resources in its neighborhood and pre-plans re-route plans for each of the failures for which it is responsible. It maintains the created re-route plans and, upon detection of a failure, transmits a re-route plan to particular nodes that participate in the re-routing recovery planned for such a failure. Alternatively, it transmits re-route plans to the nodes that need them, and upon detection of a failure, the network node broadcasts an ID of the re-route plan that needs to be executed.

  • Patent number: 6498778
Abstract: A method and system are provided for computing an optimal restoration capacity and/or optimal restoration paths for a network to resolve a restoration scenario by solving a linear program (LP) model. The LP model includes decision variables corresponding to restoration capacity and restoration paths and constraints requiring restoration of traffic and conservation of capacity in the network. For example, the system determines a set of network paths that need to be restored in the network, preprocesses network data corresponding to the network to reduce LP processing workload and time; generates possible restoration paths and solves the LP model, preferably through column generation methods, to determine the optimal restoration capacity and/or the optimal restoration paths to resolve the restoration scenario; changes the LP solution into integer form, as necessary, and changes the LP solution in integer form to the original format of the network data or an equivalent thereof.
