Abstract: A method and an apparatus for paging monitoring are provided. The method is performed by a user equipment and includes receiving a first paging configuration associated with a first radio access network, receiving a second paging configuration associated with a second radio access network from the first radio access network, monitoring at least one first paging occasion for the first radio access network based on the first paging configuration received from the first radio access network, and monitoring at least one second paging occasion for the second radio access network based on the second paging configuration received from the first radio access network, when the UE switches from a first cell of the first radio access network to camp on a second cell of the second radio access network.

Abstract: A method for requesting a target system information block (SIB) associated with a target service is provided. The method initiates a dedicated SIB request procedure to send, to a serving cell, a request for the target SIB. The method initiates the dedicated SIB request procedure while the UE has stored at least one SIB segment of a plurality of SIB segments associated with the target SIB, and before the target SIB is successfully assembled based on the plurality of SIB segments. The method transmits, to the serving cell, the request for the target SIB to the serving cell and upon the transmission of the request starts a timer, where a second dedicated SIB request procedure is not allowed to be initiated while the timer is running.

Abstract: A method for monitoring paging is provided. The method is performed by a user equipment (UE) and includes actions of receiving a first Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) addressed to a first Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI), and stopping monitoring a second PDCCH addressed to a second RNTI if the first PDCCH includes a paging stop indicator, where the second RNTI is the same as the first RNTI.

Abstract: The embodiments of the disclosure provide a method for maintaining multi-SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) configuration and user equipment (UE). The method includes: receiving, by the UE, a first multi-SIM support information from a first cell, wherein the first multi-SIM support information is generated and transmitted from a second cell to the first cell via an inter-node signaling from the second cell to the first cell, and the first cell and the second cell belong to a first network; transmitting, by the UE, a multi-SIM assistance information message to the second cell, wherein the multi-SIM assistance information message is determined based on the first multi-SIM support information.

Abstract: A light-transmitting antenna includes a substrate, a first and a second conductive pattern. The first and the second conductive pattern is disposed on a first and a second surface of the substrate respectively. The first conductive pattern includes a first feeder unit, a first and a second radiation unit, a first and a second coupling unit and a first parasitic unit. The first feeder unit is connected to the second radiation unit. The first and the second radiation unit are located between the first and the second coupling unit. One side and the other side of the first parasitic unit is connected to the second coupling unit and adjacent to the first coupling unit respectively. The second conductive pattern includes a second feeder unit, a third coupling unit, a second parasitic unit, and a fourth coupling unit.

The second feeder unit and the second connection unit are connected to two sides of the third radiation unit. The second connection unit connects the third radiation unit and the fourth radiation unit. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a method performed by the UE are provided. The method includes transitioning from a radio resource control (RRC) inactive (RRC_INACTIVE) state to an RRC idle (RRC_IDLE) state upon determining that the UE has failed to find a suitable cell and camped on an acceptable cell; and discarding a radio access network (RAN) notification area (RNA) configuration that comprises at least one of a list of tracking area identities (IDs) or a list of RAN area IDs in response to the transitioning from the RRC_INACTIVE state to the RRC_IDLE state. The acceptable cell fulfills a minimum set of requirements to initiate an emergency call and to receive one or more Earthquake & Tsunami Warning System (ETWS) and Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) notifications. The suitable cell provides normal services. The acceptable cell provides limited services.

Abstract: A method for LBT failure detection performed by a UE is provided. The method includes: receiving, by a MAC entity of the UE, an LBT failure indication from a lower layer for all UL transmissions; increasing an LBT failure counter when the MAC entity receives the LBT failure indication; determining an LBT failure event occurs when the LBT failure counter is greater than or equal to a threshold; and resetting the LBT failure counter after the MAC entity has not received the LBT failure indication for a time period.

Abstract: A method for a user equipment (UE) for cell selection while the UE is in a radio resource control (RRC) Inactive state is provided. The method receives, via control signaling, a configuration indicating a target frequency carrier and a corresponding target core network (CN) type. The method then causes the UE to transition from an RRC Connected state to the RRC Inactive state based on the received configuration. While the UE is in the RRC Inactive state, the method selects a suitable cell among a plurality of suitable cells that are associated with the target frequency carrier. The method selects the suitable cell irrespective of the received target CN type.

Abstract: A method performed by a BS for CHO is provided. The method includes transmitting a CHO command to a UE, the CHO command including a CHO command ID and a measurement ID associated with the CHO command ID; causing the UE to execute the CHO command to handover to a target BS when a trigger condition associated with the measurement ID is fulfilled; causing the UE to forgo transmitting the measurement report during the execution of the CHO command despite the UE being configured, via a report configuration associated with the measurement ID, to transmit the measurement report; transmitting, to the UE, a message that causes the UE to remove the CHO command; and after transmitting the message to the UE, determining that the report configuration is removed by the UE without transmitting, to the UE, an instruction to remove the report configuration.

Abstract: A method for completing message-playback on an electronic device involves: detection of an unplayed message storage, determining the facial images of the message recipients associated with the unplayed message, capturing facial images of members in front of the electronic device, comparing the facial images associated with the unplayed message with the captured facial image, determining whether there is at least one member who has not received this message who is in front of the electronic device according to the comparison, and if so playing the message.

Abstract: A server includes a communication module, a database and a processor. The communication module receives identification information of a user of a mobile terminal and a movement status and a geographic position of the user from the mobile terminal. The processor determines real time traffic condition of the geographic position of the user according to the real time traffic information of the area where the user is located stored in the database and evaluates a time period to be spent from the geographic position of the user to the display terminal according to the movement status of the user and the real time traffic condition of the area. The communication module further transmits the geographic position of the user, the evaluated time period and the identification information of the user to the display terminal. A system including the server and a method of displaying a user status are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for displaying video image of a television includes processing video signals corresponding to video images transmitted from an electronic device and determining whether the TV programs are displayed on a full displaying window or on a partial displaying window. The display is controlled to provide a first video image displaying window overlaying the full displaying window if the TV programs are displayed on the full displaying window or provide a second video image displaying window spaced from the partial displaying window if the TV programs are displayed on the partial displaying window. The video image is displayed in the first video image displaying window or the second video image displaying window. Any human faces in the video image displayed in the first video image displaying window cause the video image to be transparent except for the faces. A related TV is also provided.

Abstract: A terminal for recording video message includes an audio capture unit, an image capture unit, a storage unit and a processing unit. The audio capture unit captures audio data. The image capture unit captures image data. The image data is associated with the captured audio data. The storage unit stores identities of recipients. The processing unit determines one or more recipients of a video message. A video message is created and the relationships between the one or more determined recipients and the created message are established. The created message and the established relationships are transmitted to an apparatus for broadcasting the video message.

Abstract: A method for broadcasting TV show as used in a smart TV. The smart TV comprises a body, a facial image capturing unit and a storage unit. The storage unit stores facial images of registered users and a mapping relationship between a number of favorite TV show lists and a number of accounts. The method comprises following steps. Capturing the facial images in front of the facial image capturing unit, identifying whether the captured facial images contain one or more facial images of registered users of the smart TV and identify the number of the registered users contained in the captured facial images. In addition, controlling the smart TV to enter a broadcasting mode according to the identified users. Importing TV shows associated with the broadcasting mode of the smart TV and the favorite TV show lists. A smart TV is also provided by the present disclosure.

Abstract: A server includes a communication module, a database and a processor. The communication module receives identification information of a user of a mobile terminal and a movement status and a geographic position of the user from the mobile terminal. The processor determines real time traffic condition of the geographic position of the user according to the real time traffic information of the area where the user is located stored in the database and evaluates a time period to be spent from the geographic position of the user to the display terminal according to the movement status of the user and the real time traffic condition of the area. The communication module further transmits the geographic position of the user, the evaluated time period and the identification information of the user to the display terminal. A system including the server and a method of displaying a user status are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for displaying video image of a television includes processing video signals corresponding to video images transmitted from an electronic device and determining whether the TV programs are displayed on a full displaying window or on a partial displaying window. Abstract: A system and a method of adaptively suppressing false-color artifacts are disclosed. A luma spatial frequency unit detects edges or an area with a substantially high luma spatial frequency within an active window, and a chroma spatial frequency unit detects substantial fluctuations in colors within the active window. A false-color detector determines occurrence of false-color artifacts according to results of the luma spatial frequency unit and the chroma spatial frequency unit. A compensator performs compensation on chroma components if the false-color detector decides that the false-color artifacts occur.
