Abstract: In various embodiments, systems load primary drug containers into a processing apparatus in which the containers are automatically scanned for label information, sanitized, pierced, and their liquid contents aspirated out into a secondary container, such as a reservoir bag. A filtration process (e.g., a 0.2 ?m filtration process) may be performed during this process, or the liquid may first be loaded into an intermediate container and filtered during transfer into another container (e.g., a second reservoir bag).
