    Abstract: Electrical connector comprising a detection device for detecting potential overheating, which comprises an electrically conductive element and an electrically insulating element inserted between the electrically conductive element and a low-voltage line. The electrically conductive element exerts an elastic force on the insulating element. For example, the electrically conductive element is a spring. In the event of overheating, the insulating element deforms under the pressure of the electrically conductive element and enables an electrical connection between two low-voltage lines. The overheating is detected as a consequence of the electrical design of this connection between the low-voltage lines.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a connector having a lever for facilitating the connection. The connector comprises a housing on which a lever is rotatably mounted between an open position, in which a counter-connector may be coupled to the connector in one direction of coupling, and a closed position, in which the connector and the counter-connector are locked together. The lever is maintained in the closed position by a lock that is connected to the housing with the help of two tabs, each extending respectively from the lock towards the housing, in a direction perpendicular to the direction of coupling. In order to disengage the lever and the lock, the lock is displaced towards the housing by a translation perpendicular to the direction of coupling.

To this end, the device for assuring the position of the contacts is locked in the shipping position against a stop. On insertion of one or more contacts into its respective cavity, a direct interaction between this contact or these contacts and the device for assuring the position of the contacts causes escape from the stop. The device for assuring the position of the contacts can then be displaced from its shipping position to its use position.

In the assembled condition, the CPA element does not abut against the surface and is movable relative to the second connector between the safety and active positions, so as to connect the mating contact carried by the CPA element with the corresponding contact.
