    Abstract: A dental method and apparatus wherein detachably assembled dental models are provided with generally parallel opposite faces by an improved surfacing device of the present invention, the parallel faces having secured thereto respective attachment members or shims which are properly located by use of an improved jig, and wherein the dental models may be removably mounted in proper location in a novel articulator by the attachment members, and be removably replaceable in proper location within the articulator.
