    Abstract: A brake actuator for actuating a brake to decelerate a vehicle includes a housing defining a cavity and an integral modulator. An input passage communicates with a source of pressurized air and the modulator. An outlet passage communicates with the cavity and the modulator. The pressurized air passes from the input passage to the cavity via the modulator and the outlet passage. The modulator modulates the pressurized air passed to the cavity.
