  • Patent number: 10214965
Abstract: Disclosed are examples of methods and systems for cutting up a reinforced concrete mass, in which a drilling tool is provided. In various embodiments, the drilling tool comprises: a drill tube carrying a cutter member; a device for causing the drill tube to vibrate, the device comprising a vibration generator for generating longitudinal vibration in the drill tube; a device for injecting a drilling fluid at the distal end of the drill tube; and a device for moving the drill tube along its longitudinal direction. In the disclosed methods and systems, the reinforced concrete mass is cut up by drilling at least one hole with the help of the drill tool by causing the drill tube to vibrate while injecting the drilling fluid into the mass from the distal end of the drill tube.

  • Publication number: 20160348389
Abstract: The invention concerns the field of support devices for equipping various types of structures. More particularly, the invention concerns a support device (100) comprising a plurality of force transmission parts (1, 2a, 2b) in mutual contact so as to transmit forces directed substantially in a predefined direction (D). One of the parts has a convex surface (1a, 1b), another having a concave surface (20a, 20b) with a larger radius of curvature. The convex surface is in contact with the concave surface in a contact area. At least one of the force transmission parts comprises a block of homogeneous material having at least one recess (4) in a portion substantially aligned with the contact area along said predefined direction.
