  • Patent number: 10360402
Abstract: An example system includes a processor to receive hashed sensitive data including attributes, a hashing function, and text classifiers. The processor is to also monitor a user interface and detect an input text or an output text. The processor is to further scan the detected input text or the detected output text to detect a candidate based on the text classifiers. The processor is also to hash the detected candidate using the hashing function to generate a hashed candidate. The processor is to match the hashed candidate with hashed sensitive data. The processor is to also further extract an attribute from the matched hashed sensitive data. The processor is to intercept the output text based at least on the extracted attribute.

  • Patent number: 10148423
Abstract: A data security method including creating a token-including plaintext by including a predefined token into a plaintext, generating a cyphertext by encrypting the token-including plaintext using format-preserving encryption, generating a decrypted cyphertext by decrypting an input text, determining whether the decrypted cyphertext includes a first predefined token, if the decrypted cyphertext includes the first predefined token, recreating the plaintext by removing the first predefined token from the decrypted cyphertext, and if the decrypted cyphertext does not include the first predefined token, using the input text as the plaintext.

  • Patent number: 8719936
Abstract: An intrusion detection system collects architectural level events from a Virtual Machine Monitor where the collected events represent operation of a corresponding Virtual Machine. The events are consolidated into features that are compared with features from a known normal operating system. If an amount of any differences between the collected features and the normal features exceeds a threshold value, a compromised Virtual Machine may be indicated. The comparison thresholds are determined by training on normal and abnormal systems and analyzing the collected events with machine learning algorithms to arrive at a model of normal operation.
