  • Patent number: 11989689
Abstract: A computer-based technology is provided to optimize a warehouse space, such as warehouse racks. The technology determines a storage duration of a pallet in a warehouse, and further determines an optimal storage location for the pallet in the warehouse. For example, the technology can determine how long an inbound pallet will stay in a warehouse, and locate an optimal area of the warehouse to store the pallet. Such an optimal pallet storage area is selected to reduce labor costs in transporting the pallet in, within, and out of the warehouse and further optimize the management of multiple pallets in the warehouse as a whole. In addition, the technology can consider the size of the pallet in determining the optimal storage location in the warehouse.

  • Publication number: 20240154959
Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for providing authentication across a distributed resource network. The method includes receiving an authentication request associated with a user. The authentication request includes one or more potential physical characteristics. The method also includes identifying a non-fungible token associated with the user. The non-fungible token associated with the user includes one or more stored physical characteristic of the user. The method further includes comparing the one or more potential physical characteristics of the authentication request with the one or more stored physical characteristics of the user. The method still further includes generating an access determination for the authentication request based on the comparison of the one or more potential physical characteristics of the authentication request with the one or more stored physical characteristics of the user.

  • Patent number: 11285035
Abstract: A single arch dental device. The single arch dental device includes a dental trough, having a lingual surface, a facial surface, and an occlusal surface. The dental trough is molded to conform to a shape of a wearer's lower teeth. The facial surface of the dental trough has an anterior facial surface and a posterior facial surface. The posterior facial surface of the dental trough is contoured to receive a facial surface of the wearer's teeth. The lingual surface of the dental trough has an anterior lingual surface and a posterior lingual surface. The anterior lingual surface of the dental trough is contoured to receive the lingual surface of the wearer's teeth. • Publication number: 20220008244
Abstract: Provided is a soft flexible oral appliance having protuberances that mimic naturally occurring dental Tori. An upper, palatial appliance and a lower, mandibular appliance may be used in conjunction or separately to alleviate a variety of disorders, improve facial tone, and increase physical performance. The appliances are lightweight, thin, and do not prohibit normal speech patterns when in use. Small protuberances are strategically molded along key surfaces of each appliance to stimulate nerves in the tongue and affect forward protrusion. Forward positioning of the tongue dilates the airways of the throat improving breathing while the use is sleeping, playing sports, or talking. It also reduces bruxing or grinding of the teeth. A method is further provided, for adding protuberances to other types of oral appliances, thereby conferring some of the benefits listed above on appliances originally intended for other dental uses.

  • Patent number: 9595247
Abstract: A heel-toe actuated bass drum pedal system includes a pedal having a heel hinge point at a rear portion and an opposing toe hinge point at a front portion. A heel transfer arm is connected between the heel hinge point and the base. A heel rocker pivot is connected to the base and a heel linkage connected between the heel transfer arm and the heel rocker pivot such that movement of the heel linkage provides rotational movement to the heel rocker pivot which may carry a drum beater. A toe rocker pivot is connected to the base and a toe linkage connected between the toe rocker pivot and the toe hinge point for providing the rotational movement to the toe rocker pivot which may include a second drum beater. A return spring biases the rocker pivots toward a preselected rotation.

  • Publication number: 20160367342
Abstract: A system and method of installing dental implants to treat obstructed airflow via passive repositioning of the tongue. The present method includes the steps of installing one or more implants between the teeth along the mucogingival junction, such that the implants extend into the oral cavity and make contact with the undersurface of the tongue when the tongue is in a resting position. The positioning of the implants causes them to gently irritate the undersurface of the tongue, innervating the lingual nerve. Innervation of the lingual nerve causes the genioglossus to contract and repositions the tongue to a more anterior and superior position as compared to its resting position, vacating the airway and dilating the pharynx to improve airflow therethrough. Both the positioning and the size of the implants are customizable, thereby ensuring proper contact between the implants and the tongue regardless of topographical differences of patients' oral cavities.

  • Publication number: 20110114100
Abstract: A dental mouthpiece clenched between the teeth and used to alleviate numerous dental and medical conditions as well as increase a user's performance. The mouthpiece improves facial tone and provides relief of temporomandibular joint pain and associated grinding of the teeth. The mouthpiece is less visible than prior art devices, even when the wearer opens his/her mouth, and does not cause discomfort. Furthermore, the mouthpiece allows for substantially unaffected speech, by the strategic placement of protuberances, so that the user may keep the mouthpiece in place and proceed about his or her business without providing any sound or visual cues to the presence of the mouthpiece.

  • Patent number: 7050887
Abstract: A passive wireless sensor and control transmitter subsystem is provided for operating irrigation or other hydraulic system. The system includes a master module unit hardwired to and in communication with an existing hydraulic system controller, and a field module unit that is hardwired to and in communication with field electromechanical control devices such as valves, solenoids and servo motors, and field sensors indicating, for example, atmospheric conditions. The master module unit and field module unit communicate with digital wireless communication and can act as a simple wireless bridge providing pass through data connectivity. The master module and field module units are capable of digitizing input signals from the devices to which they are hardwired and transmitting them to the opposite module; they are further capable of recreating the digitized signals received back into the analog form to reproduce the original input signal and communicating it to the device to which it is hardwired.
