  • Publication number: 20230108122
Abstract: A PEMF device with a permanent magnet assembly with at least one permanent magnet delivers a strong and persistent magnetic field deep into tissue. A coil controller employs pulse width modulation and a phase controller to deliver a series of fast-rise-time current pulses to a coil assembly configured in proximity to the permanent magnet assembly. The current pulses generate magnetic filed flux and induce voltage by enhancing and retracting the deep magnetic field. The device appears to function as an antenna to transmit the coil electromagnetic field into adjacent tissue.

  • Publication number: 20170324303
Abstract: Multiple arrays of linear motors and generators are combined in a radial configuration to provide high mechanical efficiency to deliver power in a single plane of motion to a common crankshaft. Magnet core assemblies for the motors and generators use powerful rare earth magnets positioned within an outer flux containment shell comprising a highly-magnetically-permeable ferrous-alloy to provide high power density. The motor magnet stack is attached directly to a link rod that connects to the crankshaft. Pulsed power is provided to electromagnetic coils coils by microcomputer control, and coil energy is recovered at the ends of the linear stroke. A controller energizes the coils in certain combinations of coil location and polarity in order to produce bi-directional mechanical motion. Energy that is released when coils are switched off is harvested as voltage pulses returned to standby batteries or capacitors, or the electrochemical cells.

  • Patent number: 4902173
Abstract: A system for preventing contamination of particulate material in a railroad hopper car during transportation and unloading of the material from the car, comprising transporting the material in the railroad hopper car with a filter on each of the various inlet and outlet openings of the car, then upon reaching the point for unloading, applying a vacuum to draw the material out of the car through one spout with its filter removed, while leaving the filters in place on the other openings in the car to prevent contamination of the product from external sources during transportation and unloading. The preferred filter for the railroad car spouts has a frame, a conical filter bag, and a filter bag support ring for mounting on a spout on the car.
