    Abstract: An electronic component package includes a substrate and an electronic component mounted to the substrate, the electronic component including a bond pad. A first antenna terminal is electrically connected to the bond pad, the first antenna terminal being electrically connected to a second antenna terminal of the substrate. A package body encloses the electronic component, the package body having a principal surface. An antenna is formed on the principal surface by applying an electrically conductive coating. An embedded interconnect extends through the package body between the substrate and the principal surface and electrically connects the second antenna terminal to the antenna. Applying an electrically conductive coating to form the antenna is relatively simple thus minimizing the overall package manufacturing cost. Further, the antenna is relatively thin thus minimizing the overall package size.

Through the continuous construction of event timelines, the database management engine can identify discrepancies between previously generated timelines and new timelines. Further, the database management engine can identify appropriate remedial actions based on the characteristics of the discrepancies. The safety device attaches to a firearm having a trigger and a slot for receiving a magazine. The safety device includes a locking mechanism that attaches to the trigger to preclude depressing a trigger of the firearm and a sensor that determines an orientation of the firearm or a relative motion of the firearm to indicate detected movement of the firearm. The safety device also includes a radio device that receives parameter signals from the sensor indicating movement of the firearm. The radio device communicates with a component of a property monitoring system to receive a command to engage the locking mechanism to preclude depressing the trigger of the firearm based on parameter signals indicating a particular type of detected movement of the firearm.

    Abstract: A valved introducer sheath (1) having a valve housing (17, 18) with a through-lumen and an inflatable cuff (2, 60, 70) disposed in the valve housing that can be inflated to occlude the through-lumen, is described. The device has an overflow tube (30) in fluidic connection with the inflatable cuff having a resiliently deformable overflow chamber (34). When the inflatable cuff is filled with inflation liquid, the cuff partly or fully occludes the through-lumen, thereby preventing blood pass through the lumen. When an interventional device is pushed through the lumen for use in a medical procedure, the pressure forces liquid from the cuff into the overflow tube, allowing the cuff to partly deflate. As the overflow chamber is resiliently deformable, the liquid is pressurised which maintains a seal between the inflatable cuff and the interventional device. Upon removal of the interventional device from the lumen, the overflow tube pushes fluid back into the cuff, allowing it to reinflate fully.

The database includes entries for employees, and each database entry includes identifying information about the associated employee. A user can request to modify data within database entries, for instance in order to update information associated with an employee. Responsive to the request, the database management engine identifies liabilities associated with the database modification stemming from associated tax laws. Based on the identified tax liabilities, the engine computes the aggregate tax liability owed by the employer and/or employee.
