Abstract: An interactive display system is described. The interactive display system comprises a display, a server and a wireless handset communicatively coupled to a wide area network. The system further comprises at least one transmitter configured to transmit a signal. The wireless handset is configured to receive a signal from the at least one transmitter and send signal strength information for the at least one transmitter to the server. The server is configured to determine whether the wireless handset is within a predefined viewing area of the display. The display is configured to present a content item when the wireless handset is within the predefined viewing area.

Abstract: A method for tracking patronage of a customer in at least one casino property is described. The method comprises monitoring a wireless handset that determines the location of the customer. The method then proceeds to generate a user profile that comprises user preferences and monitored betting activity associated with the customer and accumulated points stored in a customer account according to a monetary value of the monitored betting activity. Complementary goods or services are determined based on the accumulated points associated with the customer account. A message is sent to the wireless handset associated with the complementary goods or services that is consistent with the user preferences.

Abstract: A network based indoor positioning and geofencing system and method is described. Beacons are disposed within a physical premises and each beacon transmits a signal containing identifying information. A networked indoor positioning module receives measured reference points that include a measured beacon identifier and a measured signal strength. The networked indoor positioning module uses the measured reference points to generate calculated signal strength values for at least one detected beacon. At least one geofence is associated with the physical premises and the geofence includes some of the calculated signal strength values. A wireless device receives a beacon identifier and a beacon signal strength, when the wireless device is in or near a geofence associated the physical premises.

Abstract: A content delivery system, device and method is described. The content delivery system includes a database and a content presentation module. The database includes a user profile, user attributes, content items, and indoor geofences. The content presentation module presents a first list of targeted content items associated with a first user profile on a first wireless device. The first list of targeted content items corresponds to a first user attribute and a particular indoor geofence. The content presentation module also presents a second list of targeted content items associated with a second user profile on a second wireless device. The first list of targeted content items presented on the first wireless device is different from the second list of targeted content items presented on the second wireless device at the particular indoor geofence, when the first user attribute is different from the second user attribute.

A map is displayed on the touch screen display and the map displays a plurality of geofences. The beacons transmit a signal containing identifying information. The location positioning module receives the beacon signal data communication from a wireless device. The location positioning module receives measured reference points that include a measured beacon identifier and a measured signal strength. The location positioning module uses the measured reference points to generate calculated signal strength values for at least one detected beacon, wherein some of the calculated signal strength values are associated with a geographic boundary. The location positioning module determines the location of the wireless device by comparing the beacon signal data to the calculated signal strength values.
