  • Publication number: 20240179874
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for providing computer-implemented services are disclosed. To provide the computer-implemented services, hardware components that generate heat may be used. To manage the heat generated by the hardware components, a heat sink assembly may be used. The heat sink assembly may include features for adjusting its shape and/or size to accommodate other nearby components. By accommodating other components, the heat sink assembly may be used in spaces that would otherwise be unusable for thermal dissipation purposes due to the risk of mechanical interference between the heat sink assembly and the other components.

  • Publication number: 20240164942
Abstract: Surgical apparatus for performing in pars plana vitrectomy microsurgery including a cannula having an intraocular portion that connects to an infusion tube. The intraocular portion includes fenestrations at its distal end. The intraocular portion receives fluid through the infusion tube and dispenses the fluid through the fenestrations lessening the flow at an infusion site in an eye. The surgical apparatus includes a vitreous cutter having a suction tube at one end and a shaft at another end. The cutting port cuts vitreous into smaller pieces or a laser that liquefies the vitreous. The shaft receives the cut vitreous pieces and the suction tube draws out the cut vitreous pieces from the eye. The surgical apparatus includes a vitreoretinal surgical tool having a vitreoretinal cutter having a scissor-like or forceps-like mechanism. The vitreoretinal cutter holds and/or cuts a membrane in the eye during the microsurgery.

  • Patent number: 11980697
Abstract: A latch and lock assembly includes a lever pivotable between a latched and unlatched position. A first actuator selectively moves a locking tab between a locked and unlocked position. In the locked position, the locking tab blocks pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. In the unlocked position, the locking tab allows pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. A second actuator selectively rotates a door opening tab between a first and second position when the locking tab is in the unlocked position is included. When the door opening tab is in the first position the lever is in a latched position, and when the door opening tab is rotated from the first position to the second position, the door opening tab abuts the lever and urges the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position.

  • Publication number: 20220350305
Abstract: Systems and methods for producing more accurate, intricate structures via digital light processing additive manufacturing are provided. One or more digital transformations, or filters, are applied to 2D-images used to print the part to help eliminate the effects of scatter. The digital transformations can lead to higher doses of light to be applied to edges and smaller features while limiting an amount of exposure to light of larger features to avoid over-curing of the larger features. This can help keep the integrity of certain designs, such as lattices and other structures that are intended to have some porosity. The digital transformations can also be used in a diagnostic manner to help provide feedback on performance.

  • Publication number: 20220327251
Abstract: Methods and systems for designing and manufacturing RF devices is provided. The disclosed methods allow for quick and efficient printing without having to generate a CAD file or the like to generate the build file. This can be achieved by receiving RF inputs, such as inputs generated from an RF simulation, and combining that with geometry design data, such as boundary geometry information that can include an outer geometry and size of the device to be printed. Further, the RF devices that are produced can use triply periodic minimal surface constructs as the base element of the device.
