Publication number: 20240128644Abstract: A multi-band antenna system can include a base, a ground reference portion coupled to the base, and a cover configured to be removably coupled to the base. The antenna system can include one or more of: four low/high multi-band antenna devices, four multi-band WiFi antenna devices, and a GPS radiating device, which can coupled to the ground reference portion and positioned between the base and the cover. The antenna system can be used for mobile and client-based application for wireless telecommunication. When the antenna system is used in conjunction with high order electromagnetic modes generated or received by a transceiver and/or receiver, the antenna system can have an operating frequency range of between about 500 MHz to about 8.0 GHz.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Michael A. Neenan, Richard Loy Smith, JR., George Alexander Bednekoff, Rauhon Ahmed Shaik

Publication number: 20240113451Abstract: An antenna assembly can include a front cover, a back cover, and one or more ground reference portions with one or more feed networks positioned between the front cover and the back cover. The antenna assembly can include a first antenna array and a second antenna array coupled to the one or more ground reference portions. The antenna arrays can be an ultra-wide band directional antenna array for mobile and client based application for the wireless telecommunication marketplace. The first antenna and second antenna arrays can two orthogonal polarizations, each covering 1800 to 4200 MHz, a 2.3:1 bandwidth. The ultra-wide band directional antenna array can have ultra-wide bandwidth and narrow elevation and azimuth beamwidths which can allow for an enhancement in the link budget between the base station and the mobile or client by increasing the signal strength from the basestation and decreasing the received signal strength from interfering sources.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Michael A. Neenan, Richard Loy Smith, JR., George Alexander Bednekoff, Rauhon Ahmed Shaik

Publication number: 20240113450Abstract: An antenna assembly can include a cover and a base configured to be removably coupled to the cover. The antenna assembly can include one or more of: a UHF radiator portion, a VHF radiator portion, one or more multi-band radiator portions, one or more dual-band WiFi radiator portions, a GPS antenna, and a loop antenna portion positioned between the cover and the base. The loop antenna can be suspended below the UHF and VHF radiator portion and above the multi-band and dual-band WiFi radiator portions, and can be configured for AM and FM radiofrequency signals. The antenna assembly can be used for broadcast television reception and multi-band wireless telecommunications. The antenna assembly can have a compact aerodynamic profile. The UHF radiator portion and VHF radiator portion can be formed on separate flex-circuits that can be coupled to internal ribs in the cover.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Michael A. Patent number: 11909090Abstract: A multi-band antenna has a feed point, a grounding location, a first portion for low band operation, a second portion for low band operation, and one or more portions for high band operation. The ground reference of the feed point for the multi-band antenna is connected to a separate object that may provide a base for the multi-band antenna. The feed point of the multi-band antenna may be spaced above the base and have a space between the feed point and a location for the ground point. The low band portion has multiple resonances that are often odd multiples of the lowest resonant response. The portions that resonant most dominantly in the high band often have multiple resonances that are even multiples of the lowest high band resonance. The multi-band antenna has resonances spaced closely enough to appear to be a wide band antenna above the fundamental high band resonance.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2022Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: Parsec Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Michael A. Neenan, Richard Loy Smith, Jr., George Alexander Bednekoff

Publication number: 20230402732Abstract: An antenna unit includes a case having a base and a lid. An antenna assembly is located within the lid and is IP67 compliant, being waterproof. The antenna assembly can provide antennas located on one or more baseplates that are positioned within the top cover of the box. A baseplate can act as a heatsink, a reflector, and/or a ground plane, for the antennas while the cover is closed and in the locked position. The antennas have been designed and optimized to work on a baseplate and designed to operate with the thick plastic cover of the box. A plurality of antenna components are situated within the base separate from the antenna assembly. An optional barrier is located within the base to divide the antenna components from the lid. The antenna assembly include different types of antennas operable at least between 600 MHz to 39 GHz.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2023Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventors: Michael A.
