Patent number: 11995792Abstract: Computer-implemented system and method that allows for the rehabilitation of individuals with strabismus by leveraging commercially available VR headset technology. Eye tracking capabilities and external cameras of existing VR headsets, enables the system and method to first gather the image that the dominant, unaffected eye is focused on (FIG. 1). Then, given where the strabismus unaffected eye's gaze falls on its screen, the system and method will take the image and identify where that point lies on the strabismus affected eye's screen. This point is the ideal gaze point of the strabismus affected eye. The software solution disclosed herein will then warp the strabismus affected eye's screen so that this new gaze will line up with the unaffected eye's gaze.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2021Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Inventors: Christopher Pratt Foley, Jr., Carlie Madison Bolling, David Michael Guardiola, Gabriel Khalfani Smith, Katrina Kera Pham

Patent number: 11994901Abstract: A clock data recovery circuit includes a deglitch filter circuit and a timer circuit. The deglitch filter circuit is configured to remove pulses of less than a particular duration from a data signal to produce a deglitched data signal. The timer circuit is coupled to the deglitch filter, and is configured to compare a duration of a pulse of the deglitched data signal to a threshold duration, and identify the pulse as representing a logic one based on the duration of the pulse exceeding the threshold duration.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2022Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATEDInventors: Michael Ryan Hanschke, Pankaj Pandey, Joseph Pham, David Wayne Evans

Patent number: 11977412Abstract: A variety of improvements to docking systems for portable computing devices are disclosed. For example, improved techniques for maintaining a data connection between a base portion of the docking system and a case portion of the docking system are disclosed. As an example, the docking system can include improved magnetics that help maintain the data connection between the base portion and the case portion, even during rotational movements of the case portion relative to the base portion. Further still, examples are described where the detection of a docking action between the case portion and the base portion can trigger any of a number of responsive actions.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2019Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: MOBILE TECH, INC.Inventors: Michael D. Patent number: 11805027Abstract: A serverless computing system is configured to provide access to a machine learning model by at least associating an endpoint, comprising code that accesses the machine learning model, with an extension that interfaces between a serverless compute architecture and the endpoint. A request to perform an inference is received by the system and processed by using the serverless compute architecture to execute a compute function. The compute function cases the extension to interface with the endpoint to cause the machine learning model to perform the inference.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2022Date of Patent: October 31, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Maximiliano Maccanti, Gowda Dayananda Anjaneyapura Range, Rishabh Ray Chaudhury, Michael Pham, Shruti Sharma, Saumitra Vikram, James Alan Sanders, Mihir Sathe

Publication number: 20230315999Abstract: Systems and method are disclosed for processing unrecognized user queries. A received user query is classified via a first machine learning model. A first classification determination is made for the user query. In response to the first classification determination, features of the user query are identified via a second machine learning model. The user query is grouped into a cluster based on the features of the user query. Information about the cluster is displayed for prompting a user action. The user action may include identification of an intent for the user query.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2022Publication date: October 5, 2023Inventors: Salman Mohammed, Gordon Gibson, Liam Bolton, Adam Sils, Viacheslav Tradunskyi, Michael Pham, Raheleh Makki Niri

Publication number: 20230169396Abstract: A system is configured to provide access to a machine learning model by using a hybrid configuration comprising a dedicate server on which an instance of a model server is installed, and a serverless compute architecture that interfaces with an instance of the model server using an extension. A first portion of requests directed to the model server are processed by the dedicated server, and a second portion of the requests is processed by the serverless compute architecture.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2022Publication date: June 1, 2023Inventors: Maximiliano Maccanti, Gowda Dayananda Anjaneyapura Range, Rishabh Ray Chaudhury, Michael Pham, Shruti Sharma, Saumitra Vikram, James Alan Sanders, Mihir Sathe

Patent number: 10067323Abstract: EZ Hi-Def. device is comprised of 6 round bars arranged in a hexagon and a base ring. Round bar handles are located outside of base ring to make the shape of hexagon smaller or bigger, so that bars don't block the live view of the camera or don't show in a photograph. Six round bars reflect light to the camera lens to provide two critical factors to capture a high definition photograph: more image data and increased light sensitivity of the camera.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2016Date of Patent: September 4, 2018Assignee: KINGHOME ENTERPRISEInventor: Michael Pham

Publication number: 20170254994Abstract: The present invention provides a device, EZ Hi-Def., which can be mounted to a digital camera lens to take a high-definition photo. Photograph is from light, and it cannot be emphasized enough that without light there is no photograph. This simplicity and low cost device can turn photography into new chapter from digital to high definition.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2016Publication date: September 7, 2017Inventor: MICHAEL PHAM

Patent number: 5420858Abstract: An apparatus and method of communicating between devices coupled to two networks. The first network comprises a terminal, containing an Ethernet interface, communication medium and an Ethernet interface contained in a concentrator. The second network comprises an Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) interface contained in a switch, a communication medium and other components of an ATM network. Terminals transmit packets to other devices by: transmitting a packet to the concentrator, the concentrator segments the packet's information into ATM cells, and transmits the cells over the ATM network. The Terminals receive packets from other devices by: the ATM network transmitting cells to a concentrator, the cells being reassembled into Ethernet packets, then the packets being transmitted to the appropriate terminal.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 1993Date of Patent: May 30, 1995Assignee: SynOptics Communications, Inc.Inventors: Ken Marshall, Robert Newman, Michael Pham
