    Abstract: A tennis ball container assembly includes a generally cylindrical container having an open top end, a membrane seal which is secured to the open end of the container for holding pressurized gas in the container, and a cap which is screwed onto the top of the container. The cap includes a flexible portion and a prong on the flexible portion for piercing the membrane seal when the flexible portion is pushed downwardly toward the seal. After the internal pressure in the container is vented, the cap can be unscrewed.
