  • Patent number: 11922109
Abstract: Embodiments include predictive antenna diode insertion. Aspects of the invention include obtaining a design of a macro, the design including an internal pin disposed on a first layer of the macro. Aspects of the invention also include determining a length of a wire needed to connect the internal pin to a furthest edge of the macro for each of two layers above the layer the internal pin. Aspects of the invention further include adding, to the design of the macro, an antenna diode to the internal pin based on the determination that an area of the wire needed exceeds a threshold value, wherein the area of the wire is based on the length and a width of the wire.

  • Publication number: 20240071233
Abstract: Systems and methods of a monitoring node to assist an air navigation service provider (ANSP) in the design of an airspace. The monitoring node collects flight data and performs flight simulations for a large geographic region that is outside of the airspace. The monitoring node receives flight data collected by the ANSP for the airspace. The monitoring node supplements their flight data with the data received from the ANSP and performs flight simulations and generates flight plans for the airspace. The flight simulations and flight plans are transmitted to the ANSP which are then used by the ANSP to design the airspace.

  • Publication number: 20240040555
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide for the pairing of an inter-band carrier with a time division duplex (TDD) carrier. If the paired band is a frequency division duplex (FDD) band, then base stations and mobile devices may transmit and receive additional thin control channels on FDD carriers to enable full duplex operations. If the paired band is a TDD band, then a conjugate or inverse carrier may be used such that full duplex, or a close approximation thereto, is achieved. With the introduction of a paired channel and fast control channels, rapid uplink/downlink switching may be achieved for TDD carriers efficiently and effectively. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

  • Publication number: 20240004611
Abstract: Processing circuitry performs a processing operation to generate a two's complement result value representing a positive or negative number in two's complement representation. Normalization-and-rounding circuitry converts the two's complement result value to a normalized-and-rounded floating-point result value represented using sign-magnitude representation. The normalization-and-rounding circuitry comprises incrementing circuitry to perform an increment addition (e.g. a rounding increment or a conversion increment) to generate a fraction of the normalized-and-rounded floating-point result value. For an operation where the increment addition is required to be performed, tininess detection circuitry detects the after-rounding tininess status based on a still-to-be-incremented version of the normalized-and-rounded floating-point result value prior to the increment addition by the increment circuitry.
