  • Publication number: 20220286323
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods that reduce funneling noise in upstream data transmissions from modems providing the transmissions through respective RF legs connected to the node. Preferred devices and systems may include a node that is configured to selectively isolate respectively scheduled upstream data signals from noise present on any RF leg not propagating a scheduled upstream data signal.

  • Patent number: 9344319
Abstract: Systems and methods can provide for Edge-QAM and M-CMTS timing lock. In some implementations, an Edge-QAM can provide for timing lock with an M-CMTS core by observing DOCSIS-SYNC MAC messages. In other implementations, an Edge-QAM can provide for timing lock with an M-CMTS core by observing per-modem ranging MAC messages. In other implementations, an EQAM can provide for timing lock with an M-CMTS core by performing timing lock check and adjustment. Using existing protocol messages defined in the M-CMTS architecture, the EQAM can intercept, snoop, and extract timing values from the M-CMTS core thereby reducing or even eliminating the need for a DTI server.

  • Patent number: 8558631
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses can provide a plurality of RF channels and outputs using digital modulation and combining. In various examples, generation of digital IQ packetized data in combination with digital switching can increase the number of RF modulated channels, optimize broadcast transmission and/or provide transmission resiliency.

  • Patent number: 8520774
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus can provide a plurality of RF outputs using a single digital to analog convertor (DAC) for digitally modulated data. In various examples, an intermediate frequency (IF) containing one or more digitally modulated channels is frequency down converted to meet the radio frequency (RF) specifications of a communication system.

  • Patent number: 7682291
Abstract: A treadmill having a belt assembly allows a user to walk or run in any arbitrary direction. A flattened flexible toroid bladder injected with a lubricant, and stretched over a frame with rotating members. Separate power-driven mechanisms concurrently rotate the toroid belt around the major and minor axis to allow omni-directional user movement.

  • Patent number: 7628740
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of straps and tension devices and specifically relates to a device and method useful for stretching and exercise. In particular, the invention relates to an exercise device. According to one embodiment, the exercise device includes an elongated body having a plurality of columnar ladder apertures and a pad protrusion extending into at least one of the ladder apertures.

  • Patent number: 5183298
Abstract: Cast iron fittings are coupled with reducer fittings in a fluid handling network to reduce the flow diameter in various pipe sections of the network. Each main fitting and reducer fitting has two or more tabs about their mating open ends which are aligned and connected one to the other to maintain the fittings coupled together. Reducer fittings having standard size, large diameter ends, are provided with variously sized smaller diameter ends to selectively reduce the flow. The reducer fittings are straight-through sections useful with main fittings of various types, including Tees, elbows, right-angle bends and the like.
