  • Patent number: 11967948
Abstract: A method and apparatus for use in improving the linearity characteristics of MOSFET devices using an accumulated charge sink (ACS) are disclosed. The method and apparatus are adapted to remove, reduce, or otherwise control accumulated charge in SOI MOSFETs, thereby yielding improvements in FET performance characteristics. In one exemplary embodiment, a circuit having at least one SOI MOSFET is configured to operate in an accumulated charge regime. An accumulated charge sink, operatively coupled to the body of the SOI MOSFET, eliminates, removes or otherwise controls accumulated charge when the FET is operated in the accumulated charge regime, thereby reducing the nonlinearity of the parasitic off-state source-to-drain capacitance of the SOI MOSFET. In RF switch circuits implemented with the improved SOI MOSFET devices, harmonic and intermodulation distortion is reduced by removing or otherwise controlling the accumulated charge when the SOI MOSFET operates in an accumulated charge regime.

  • Patent number: 11935113
Abstract: Improved techniques and systems for delivery and acquisition of digital assets are disclosed. The techniques and systems are especially suitable and useful for delivering digital assets (e.g., media assets) that are available for acquisition and electronic delivery from online stores to electronic devices. In accordance with one aspect, when a digital asset is acquired from an online store via an electronic device associated with a user, the digital asset can be arranged for delivery to a number of other of electronic devices also associated with the user. It will be appreciated that the digital asset can be delivered and acquired without requiring explicit user input or instruction in accordance with another aspect. Other aspects of the techniques and systems include customization of configuration and user interfaces that are provided to facilitate acquisition of digital assets in a more efficient manner.

  • Patent number: 4776129
Abstract: A butterfly net is disclosed comprising a stocking cap-shaped netting open at one end thereof. The netting has a hem-line loop formed along the periphery of the open end. A flexible strip of finite length has one portion thereof threaded through the loop, and a second portion thereof extending outside the loop. The butterfly net is provided with an elongated handle member having a longitudinally extending opening. Guide means are provided adjacent the opening for guiding the second portion of the strip into the opening. An actuator is slidably mounted on the handle member, and is coupled to the second portion of the strip. The actuator is movable on the handle between a first position in which the one portion is of one length and the open end of the netting is fully opened, and a second position in which the one portion is of a smaller length and the open end of the netting is at least partially closed for capturing a butterfly.

  • Patent number: 4625082
Abstract: In a telecommunication system with a number of units (Ula-Una, Ulb-Unb) for control purposes and also for subscriber facilities, each such unit is duplicated, as is the system controller (SCa, Scb). There are two local area networks (1,3), each of which interconnects one system controller and one unit of each pair of units. When one network is to be isolated, e.g. for servicing or when a fault occurs, its controller detects that condition, and isolates that network by relay circuitry in the termination (T2, T3) of the bus. Another version of the system uses local area networks of the closed ring type. In certain cases the units, etc., may be triplicated.
