  • Publication number: 20190030395
Abstract: A small, lightweight portable multi-directional or omni-directional rolling abdominal exercise device includes an over-molded roller ball having an outer molded layer; a housing supporting the roller ball for multi-directional movement; bearing members within the housing allowing for the rotational mounting of the roller ball; and handles coupled to the housing allowing for the user to engage the device with at least one of hands, elbows, knees or feet. The over-molded roller ball includes a ball core formed of a first and second hemispherical core member and an outer molded layer which completely encapsulates the ball core forming the ground engaging surface of the roller ball and which is configured to minimize slip, wherein each of the first and second hemispherical core members include grooves configured to engage the outer molded layer and wherein the outer molded layer comprises one of TPE, TPR, TPU, Silicone, rubber and mixtures thereof.

  • Patent number: 8353808
Abstract: Exercise devices for exercising the abdominal muscles and other muscle groups are disclosed. Each of the exercise devices has a housing from which opposing interconnected ends of an axle extend and a support ball that is captured within and partially extends from the housing. The housing has a cavity defining a partial sphere for receiving the support ball. Each of the exercise devices also comprises a plurality of strips which are attached to the surface of the cavity. Each of the strips includes a plurality of bearings each of which is captured within a bearing race. The strips are positioned upon the cavity surface so as to engage the support ball surface and to provide free-rolling support of the housing on the support ball in any direction when the exercise device is in use. Methods of using the exercise devices are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070164642
Abstract: A storage cabinet assembly comprises a housing including a pair of sidewalls, a rear wall, and a top wall that cooperate with one another to form a storage area, and a base assembly supporting the housing. The base assembly includes a top wall and a bottom wall that mate together to form an interior space, and a plurality of corner support brackets supporting the top wall from the bottom wall. The storage cabinet assembly further includes a drop-in drawer arrangement, and a drawer interlock assembly adapted to prevent multiple drawers from being simultaneously moved to an opened position.

  • Publication number: 20040175480
Abstract: Hop beta acids are improved with respect to their antibacterial properties, especially their anti-Listeria properties. Enhancement in this regard is especially useful for the treatment of food products which are susceptible to bacterial contamination. This can be especially important when the hop beta acids are to be used in surface application onto the food products. The hop beta acids are rendered more effective by combining them with a food grade acid, a potassium ion source, and an optional antioxidant in a carrier solvent such as, for example, a food grade alcohols or a food grade glycol. The improved hop beta acid compositions of this invention provide increase stability, higher hop beta acid concentrations, and/or higher anti-Listeria activities.

  • Patent number: 5480069
Abstract: The invention provides an aerosol device for the dispensing of a pressurized liquid as an aerosol without the use of a predosed propellant, comprising a liquid storage container, a valve assembly with spray button, a fluid feed for supplying the liquid from the container to the valve, and a pump assembly capable of introducing atmospheric air into the container. The pump assembly has a pressure chamber defined by a wall and having generally open and closed ends, structure for attaching the pump assembly to the container, a piston and one or more one way valves, with the valves located at the generally closed end of the pressure chamber and comprising one or more holes releaseably sealed on the outside of the chamber by one or more elastically deformable members. The central axis of the valve of the aerosol device is not coaxial with the longitudinal axis of the pump assembly.
