Abstract: A method and apparatus for targeted distribution and merchandising, wherein airlines can target travelers with group coupons or vouchers redeemable at a plurality of restaurants in or near the destination city of the traveler.

Abstract: A seat reservation system and method in which a first user requests a reservation computer to reserve a first regular seat and a first partial seat for an event. A second user requests the reservation computer to reserve a second regular seat and a second partial seat for the event. The reservation computer then matches the first partial seat reservation request with the second partial seat reservation request to generate a middle seat reservation request for the event. The reservation computer assigns a first seat, a middle seat, and a second seat consecutively in a single row to the first user and the second user in fulfillment of the first user reservation request for the first regular seat and the first partial seat and the second user reservation request for the second regular seat and the second partial seat.

Abstract: An adjustable fin system for a watercraft such as a surfboard, includes a fin having a base, a foot extending from the base, a fin box mountable within a hull of the watercraft and a manually operable detent mechanism for releasably holding the fin in a plurality of different positions relative to the fin box. The fin box defines a cavity for receiving the foot. The cavity has an opening on a first surface through which the foot is inserted. The opening and the base are relatively dimensioned so that when the foot is received within the cavity the base substantially covers the opening.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a thermoplastic polyurethane having a tensile strength of greater than 20 MPa is described, the method using a co-rotating reaction extruder to react the following: (i) an isocyanate having two isocyanate groups per molecule; (ii) a polydiene diol having from 1.6 to about 2 terminal hydroxyl groups per molecule and a number average weight of at least 500 and less than 20,000; and (iii) one or more chain extenders.
