Abstract: A method for location-based communications routing includes determining a location of a requesting party in accordance with an address of the requesting party. Whether the location of the requesting party is in a first subscriber service area is determined and, when the location of the requesting party is not in the first subscriber service area, whether the location of the requesting party is in a second expanded subscriber service area larger than and including the first subscriber service area is determined. When the location of the requesting party is determined to be in the first subscriber service area, data corresponding to the first subscriber area is forwarded. When the location of the requesting party is determined to be in the second expanded subscriber service area, data corresponding to the second expanded subscriber service area is forwarded.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system and method of providing call source information. In a particular embodiment, the method includes receiving call source information and call destination information at a mediation messaging server of an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) system, where the call source information and the call destination information are related to a call received via at least one of a switch of a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and a wireless telephone network. The method also includes determining account information based on the call destination information and sending the account information and the call source information to a notification server of the IPTV system, where the notification server sends the call source information to a set-top box device of an IPTV user via an access network of the IPTV system.

Abstract: A stability measurement system is provided for a lifting vehicle including a vehicle frame, a turntable secured to the vehicle frame and supporting lifting components of the vehicle frame, and a turntable bearing disposed between the vehicle frame and the turntable. The stability measurement system includes a plurality of load sensors secured to the turntable bearing that measure vertical forces on the turntable bearing. A controller calculates a rotational moment applied to the vehicle frame from the turntable by processing the vertical forces on the turntable bearing measured by the plurality of load sensors. The forces are directly related to the stability of the machine. By monitoring the resulting moment according to a predetermined upper bound and lower bound, operation of the lifting machine can be controlled to substantially eliminate a tipping hazard.

Abstract: A method, system and computer readable medium are provided for defining a service area served by a service location of a telecommunications network customer. The method includes ascertaining a geographic designator of a geographic area. The geographic area includes a plurality of geographic sub-areas that each correspond to a geographic sub-designator. The method also includes determining whether any two of the plurality of geographic sub-areas are not served by the same service location. When any two of the plurality of geographic sub-areas are not served by the same service location, the service area is defined by only the sub-designators corresponding to the geographic sub-areas served by the service location. When each of the plurality of geographic sub-areas are served by the same service location, the service area is defined by the geographic designator.

Abstract: A computer program for routing a service call from a calling party to a service network having a plurality of service network locations, the program stored in a computer-readable medium. The program includes receiving a service call request to connect the calling party to one of the service network locations, determining a location of the calling party by searching a Number Plan Area (NPA) table to determine an NPA of the calling number of the calling party, identifying one of the service network locations for receiving the service call request, and identifying routing information for routing the service call request to the receiving service network location, and completing the service call request to the receiving service network location.
