Patent number: 11850529Abstract: An indoor zip coaster has a zip coaster rail suspended above ground and forming a closed loop. At least one trolley located is on the rail, with a rider tethered to the trolley by a harness. The rail has plural sections, with each section of the rail including an incline portion and a decline portion. The trolley traverses the respective incline portion of one of the sections before traversing the respective decline portion of the one section. Each of the stations contains a respective incline portion of rail, a ramp for the rider to climb. The decline portion of rail of the next section extends from one station to the next station. By including stations with inclined portions of rail along the zip coaster path, a longer ride can be obtained. In addition, sensors and gates can be provided at the stations to allow a single rider on each rail section, with multiple riders on the overall zip coaster spread among the sections.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2019Date of Patent: December 26, 2023Assignee: UATP IP, LLCInventor: Michael Browning, Jr.

Publication number: 20210035410Abstract: The method comprises providing a system comprising a server, a network, a controller, and one or more scanner devices, the server being communicatively linked to the network and the controller, the one or more scanner devices being adapted to receive identification data communicated by an identifier device such as an RFID device. The system is adapted to maintain player account data and scanner device data. The player account data comprises a player account. The scanner device data comprises data associated with the one or more scanner devices. The player account is associated with the identifier device. A player account award credit is generating when at least one of the one or more scanner devices receives the identification data communicated by the identifier device. The award credit is displayed on the mobile device. Group credits are generated when group members earn award credits.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2020Publication date: February 4, 2021Inventors: Michael BROWNING, JR., Maria Teresa DIAZ

Patent number: 10702729Abstract: A play apparatus has plural types of elevated equipment, namely a ropes course and a zip coaster. Both types of elevated equipment have respective user safety supports that extend along the respective equipment and receive a safety harness worn by a user. The user need not change safety harnesses to use the different types of equipment. The entry and exit locations for the elevated equipment are in a common area elevated above the ground. A third type of equipment, namely an obstacle course, is located under and above the common area.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2018Date of Patent: July 7, 2020Assignee: UATP IP, LLCInventor: Michael Browning, Jr.

Publication number: 20200197772Abstract: A game arena has a floor and walls located about the floor. The floor includes movable surfaces, the floor and walls form a space. Players occupy the space and throw objects such as balls. Projectors project moving images on the walls and the floor. Sensors, such as cameras and LIDAR units, detect the thrown objects and detect where and when the object impact the walls. A processor determines the location of the objects impacting the walls and the location of the moving images when the objects impacts the walls, the processor causing the projectors to change an image that has been impacted by the object.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2019Publication date: June 25, 2020Applicant: UATP IP, LLCInventor: MICHAEL BROWNING, JR.
