  • Publication number: 20220404145
Abstract: An improved silent, adjustable, hands free optical viewing device that allows a hunter to obtain real time ranges to a target or an enhanced view of a target with a minimum of noise and motion. A variation allows the mounting of a video camera to capture video of the hunt.

  • Publication number: 20220354107
Abstract: The invention is a rapidly adjustable, inherently safe, mobile climbing tree stand with harness of the type used by hunters to ascend and descend a tree and to furthermore remain seated in a fall protected mode while at height in a tree.

  • Publication number: 20130225039
Abstract: An improved rattling device to replicate the sound of antlers of bucks engaged in combat. The device comprises a contoured base body assembly, a striker assembly, a flexible elastic connector that holds the striker assembly and contoured base together, a leg strap, and a belt hanger. The contoured base body contains a series of highly engineered variably sized hollow nodes. The striker assembly comprises a series of similarly sized hollow nodes. The nodes of the two-part contoured base body face the nodes of the striker assembly. In the rest position, the nodes are held firmly against each other by the force of the elastic connector.

  • Publication number: 20090050711
Abstract: A variable and regulated animal scent dispenser that allows a hunter or tracker to dispense discrete and variable amounts of animal or other scent in a continuous manner while walking through a forest or field. The lower part of the device is attached to the underside of a hunter's boot; the upper part of the device is clipped on to the top of the hunter's boot. As the hunter walks through the woods, the sole of his boot presses down on the compressible bladder, thereby sending air through a rubber or plastic tube to a manifold. Depending on the position of the manifold/regulator switch, the compressed air either bypasses a scent receptacle or enters the scent receptacle. If the compressed air enters the scent receptacle, it picks up particles of scent and transports them out the discharge tube and ultimately to the atomizer at the end of the tube. Scent is then dispersed through the atomizer onto the ground. This allows for a fairly continuous stream of scent.

  • Publication number: 20080318488
Abstract: A rattling device to replicate the sound of antlers of bucks engaged in combat. The device comprises a rounded base body assembly, a striker assembly, a flexible spring that holds the striker assembly and base base body together, a leg strap, and a belt hanger. The rounded base body and the striker assembly are made of molded plastic. The rounded base body assembly contains a series of variably sized hollow nodes. The striker assembly comprises a series of similarly sized hollow nodes. The device is manufactured such that the nodes of the base plate face the nodes of the striker assembly. In the rest position, the nodes are held firmly against each other by the force of the flexible spring. When the hunter wants to replicate the sound of bucks battling each other, the striker assembly is pulled away from the rounded base body. The flexible elastic spring provides a force that opposes the action of the hunter.

  • Publication number: 20080054130
Abstract: A rapidly adjustable arm brace that provides for the steadying of an extended arm of the wearer, particularly the upper arm for shooting, hunting, videographing or other purposes. This rapidly adjustable arm brace incorporates the use of a gas filled air spring to provide the upward force required to hold the extended arm steady for extended periods of time. The gas spring has the additional attribute of allowing the hunter to rapidly and virtually noiselessly increase or decrease the angle of inclination of the extended arm with respect to the horizontal by slightly increasing or decreasing the downward pressure of the extended arm on the air spring.
