  • Patent number: 5269157
Abstract: An insulated beach box in which ice, beverages and various other food products may be placed with the ice maintaining the beverages and food products at a cold and fresh condition even though the beach box is placed on the beach where it may be relatively hot. The beach box includes structural features and attachments which enables the box to be effectively used as a beach chair having a seat back pivotally connected thereto which forms a pull handle when oriented generally in perpendicular relation to the top of the box which forms a seat. The box includes wheels and a rounded corner surface generally in alignment with the seat back which enables the device to be easily pulled over a hard surface by using the wheels and over sand by using the curved corner and adjacent surfaces of the box to facilitate the beach box being pulled to a desired site.

  • Patent number: 4964753
Abstract: A soil compactor having three compacting rollers supported from a frame with each of the rollers being independently powered by a hydraulic motor with the controls for the hydraulic motors being located at the rear of the compactor so that an operator walking behind the compactor will be able to control movement of the compactor. A vibration device is supported from a frame in generally a central position between the single front roller and the pair of rear rollers. The vibration device is an eccentric weight on a shaft driven at high speeds by a hydraulic motor with the central location of the vibration device producing a vibrating effect to aid in compaction and also aiding in maneuverability by providing a "floating" effect.

  • Patent number: 4683756
Abstract: A portable inexpensive manometer is realized by forming a housing assembly of two pivotable panels. The probe and a major portion of the tube are stored within the interior of the housing until the manometer is to be used. The measuring liquid is stored in a reservoir which is mounted adjacent a measuring gauge formed as an integral part of one of the panels. The reservoir is adjustable to obtain a zero reading prior to a measurement. The reservoir is exposed to the ambient during measurement by selective manipulation of a reservoir cap assembly.
