  • Patent number: 10761712
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to techniques of configuring a layout of graphical objects for display. In one example process, the device detects a scroll request and determines whether the scroll request meets predetermined criteria. If the scroll request meets the criteria, the device configures the layout of graphical objects that are to be displayed once the display is scrolled so that the graphical objects are arranged on the display differently than the arrangement in which the graphical objects would have been displayed, had the layout not been configured. If the scroll request does not meet the criteria, the device forgoes the configuration of the layout of graphical objects.

  • Publication number: 20190310888
Abstract: Methods, and systems for processing a request sent to a virtual assistant management system and for allocating resources, e.g., computing resources, in response to such requests. One of the methods includes: receiving a request; determining a category of the request; determining actions associated with completing the request; using a machine learning model to estimate an amount of time to complete the request based on the category and the actions associated with completing the request, wherein the machine learning model was trained using features characterizing a previous request that was completed by an agent and the time it took the agent to complete the previous request; and rating an agent's performance based in part on a comparison of an amount of time it takes an agent to complete the request and the estimated amount of time to complete the request generated by the machine learning model.

  • Patent number: 10212246
Abstract: The disclosure describes a proxy server application that supports the dynamic modification of proxy rules implemented by a proxy server. The proxy rules implemented by the proxy server specify network behaviors to be performed at various points during the handling of requests from client applications. A proxy server implements the proxy rules by processing one or more user-generated network traffic filters for managing network traffic. In an embodiment, users generate network traffic filters by creating network traffic filter source code that specify processing steps to be performed by a proxy server relative to network messages the proxy server receives. In an embodiment, user-generated network traffic filters may be added, removed, reordered, or otherwise modified in a proxy server application at runtime in order to respond to current network conditions or to achieve other desired proxy configurations.

  • Publication number: 20180285402
Abstract: A computer-implemented expertise mining system is configured to update an expertise database based on a recommender's out of office and/or auto-reply settings for a communication application, such as an email application or social media application. The expertise system obtains the recommender's auto-reply settings directly from the communication application. The auto-reply settings include message body text for out of office and auto-reply messages. The expertise system then extracts recommendation data from the auto-reply settings; and updates an expertise database based on the recommendation data extracted from the auto-reply settings.

  • Patent number: 10003509
Abstract: To evaluate a network's performance in processing communications related to a target transaction, a set of “reference” communications corresponding to the target transaction are compared to a larger set of communications in the network in a “production” environment, to identify the occurrence of the target transaction in the production environment. Preferably, the reference communications are recorded in a laboratory environment that models the production environment, or recorded from the production environment during a period of minimal other activities. A variety of filters are used to eliminate communications in the production environment that are apparently unrelated to the target transaction, including filters based on the time-order of communications among the nodes, the size of the packets being communicated, and the content of the communications.

  • Patent number: 9892557
Abstract: An integrated system for facilitating local treatment in an organ and capable of universally interfacing with other devices and systems is provided. The integrated system comprises an imaging system interface module configured to functionally associate with an imaging system capable of presenting to a user, through a user-interface device, parameters indicating a mode of operation of the imaging system. The imaging system interface module is configured to receive at least one of the parameters, to interpret such parameter and to allow the integrated system to assume a mode of operation according the parameter. The integrated system further comprises a treatment tool interface module, configured to receive and detect a treatment event signal from a portable treatment tool. The treatment event signal indicates a treatment event, thereby allowing establishing a time of the treatment event and thereby establishing a locality of a treatment provided to the organ by the portable treatment tool.
