Abstract: A building system including one or more storage devices storing instructions thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to ingest information comprising at least one of occupancy information or energy usage information associated with a building. The instructions further cause the one or more processors to generate a space usage recommendation based on the information. The instructions further cause the one or more processors to cause a graphical model of the building to include a representation of the information and the space usage recommendation. The instructions further cause the one or more processors to cause a display device of a user device to display the graphical model within a user interface.

Abstract: A system includes a plurality of thermostats corresponding to a plurality of HVAC systems that serve a plurality of spaces and a computing system communicable with the plurality of thermostats via a network. The computing system is configured to, for each space of the plurality of spaces, obtain a set of training data relating to thermal behavior of the space, identify a model of thermal behavior of the space based on the set of training data, perform a model predictive control process using the model of thermal behavior of the space to obtain a temperature setpoint for the space, and provide the temperature setpoint to the thermostat corresponding to the HVAC system serving the space. The plurality of thermostats are configured to control the plurality of HVAC systems in accordance with the temperature setpoints.

Abstract: A combination hand truck and tool for use in installing floor coverings of the glued-down type, such as carpet or linoleum utilizes the weight of the installer's tool box for pressing the floor covering to the floor, in lieu of a weighted roller ordinarily carried by the installer. Retractable wheels and a pivotable, adjustable position handle enable the device to be used as either a press, riding on glides that contact the floor covering, or as a hand truck for carrying the installer's tools and supplies.

Abstract: A carpet layers knife made for easy replacement of a replaceable blade which includes a blade holding portion and a handle portion; the blade holding portion provided with an internal shoulder to guide the blade into and out of the knife without dulling the blade, and a connecting element holding the elements of the knife together, the connecting element being positioned to be out of the path of the blade as it is inserted and retracted but capable of holding the blade firmly in its tightened position while providing a passageway for insertion and removal of the blade in its loosened position.
