The graphical user interface displays a routing diagram depicting a contact center routing strategy. The routing diagram includes a plurality of blocks each associated with logic for managing an interaction with the contact center. A processor monitors contact center performance as interactions with the contact center are managed according to the routing strategy. The processor identifies one of the plurality of blocks affected by the contact center performance, and further identifies a threshold associated with the identified block. The processor determines whether the contact center performance satisfies the threshold, and modifies a visual appearance of the identified block based on the determination.

A processor identifies a plurality of contact center metrics, identifies predicted values for the plurality of contact center metrics, and displays a reference geometric object having a plurality of vertices representing the predicted values for the plurality of contact center metrics. The processor also determines actual values for the plurality of contact center metrics and overlays over the display of the reference geometric object, a display of a current geometric object. The current geometric object has a plurality of vertices representing the actual values for the plurality of contact center metrics. Deviation of the current geometric object from the reference geometric object is an indication of deviation of one or more actual values from the predicted values.

Abstract: A system and method for composing a routing strategy for a contact center via a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface provides a plurality of selectable blocks and a workspace for assembling selected ones of the plurality of blocks. Each of the plurality of blocks is associated with logic for managing an interaction with the contact center. A processor receives identification of one of the blocks and identification of a location in the workspace area relative to other blocks in the workspace area, and places the identified block in the identified location. The processor generates the routing strategy based on the blocks in the workspace area and location of the blocks relative to each other in the workspace area. The processor also stores a layout of the blocks in the workspace area as a routing diagram for the routing strategy. The processor activates the routing strategy for managing the inbound interaction according to the activated routing strategy.

Abstract: A method and system for providing multiple ophthalmic and retinal blood measurements is outlined. By extracting multiple digitized wavelength images and quantitative data within a relatively short time period the method allows for compensation of a patient's eye or head movement, generation of ophthalmic clinical records, and determination of data relating to blood measurements, such as oxygen saturation and hemoglobin, in addition to ocular and other disease determinations. The method provides for multiple analysis and measurements within a single sitting of the patient, with a single simple instrument and without adaptations to the instrument during a patient's eye examination. Beneficially the approach allows for low cost, compact, and even portable implementations offering such analysis and determination outside the current ophthalmic centers providing eased access and earlier diagnosis opportunities.

Abstract: A system and method for selective capture of and presentation of native image portions are provided. In a first embodiment a first image or video is captured at a first resolution, which resolution is greater than high definition and higher than a predetermined broadcast display resolution. A desired portion of the native, first image or video is then displayed at a second, lower resolution, which resolution is less than and closer to the predetermined broadcast display resolution. Accordingly, a selected portion of the captured image may be displayed at or near the predetermined broadcast display resolution. In other exemplary embodiments, video is captured at a first frame rate that is higher than a predetermined broadcast frame rate, and an extraction window extracts frames from a portion of the native, first video to provide improved broadcast quality of the portion(s) selected by the extraction window.

Abstract: The present invention provides a network architecture. An embodiment includes a plurality of nodes interconnected by links. Each node can maintain knowledge of other nodes in a database. The database contains a list of other nodes in the network, and a ‘next-best-step’ for each of those other nodes, pointing to a neighbouring node that is the next best step to that other node. Where a particular node of the network is not in the list, then the next-best-step is assumed to be the next-best-step most commonly identified in the database. Such a network will form a “core” wherein any node in the network can find any other node in the network by first seeking out that other node at the core. Once the nodes locate each other via the core, a more optimum route forms in the network according to the most desirable path between those nodes.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described for optimizing a circuit design. A gate level circuit description corresponding to the circuit design is generated. The gate level circuit description includes a plurality of pipelines across a plurality of levels. Using a linear programming technique, a minimal number of buffers is added to selected ones of the pipelines such that a performance constraint is satisfied.
