  • Patent number: 11459022
Abstract: A rolling bearing for mounting a driving worm of a power-assisted steering system of a vehicle includes a rotatable inner ring and a rotationally fixed outer ring. Rolling elements arranged between the inner and outer ring are guided by a channel-shaped first raceway arranged on a radially outer side of the inner ring and by a channel-shaped second raceway arranged on a radially inner side of the outer ring. The second raceway includes a cross-sectional profile that varies around its circumference. The cross-sectional profile allows laterally offset rolling elements to roll and thus tilting of the inner ring about a tilting axis orthogonal to the axis of rotation of the rolling bearing if the tilting axis assumes a predetermined tilted position in the circumferential direction of the second raceway and limits tilting of the inner ring to a minimum when the tilting axis is angled 90° to the tilted position.

  • Publication number: 20220074801
Abstract: A torque sensor unit includes a ring magnet that is connectable to a first partial shaft in a torque-proof manner, a magnetic yoke that is connectable to a second partial shaft and that is arranged in a magnetic field of the ring magnet, magnetic flux conductors that are connectable to the second partial shaft and that conduct magnetic fluxes generated by the magnetic yoke, a sensor unit having a first housing, which detects a change in rotational angle between the partial shafts by measuring magnetic flux density generated between the magnetic flux conductors, and a second housing that surrounds the ring magnet, the magnetic yoke, the magnetic flux conductors, and the sensor unit. The second housing may include a housing opening that is at least partly closed by a housing cover. The second housing and the housing cover may comprise magnetically conductive material for magnetically shielding the torque sensor unit.

  • Patent number: 10988164
Abstract: An electromechanical servo steering system with an electric servomotor having a motor shaft that drives a shaft which cogs with a helical gear. The shaft is arranged in a transmission housing and is mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation at its end near the motor in a bearing arrangement and is mounted pivotably in the transmission housing about a pivot axis which lies transverse to the axis of rotation. At least one spring element is provided which axial pretensions a bearing element that is pivotably movable with the shaft about the pivot axis, of the bearing arrangement in a spring-elastic manner against a bearing element that is arranged in a stationary manner in the transmission housing, of the bearing arrangement, wherein precisely two spring elements are provided which are arranged oppositely in the circumferential direction of the bearing arrangement.
