  • Publication number: 20110030226
Abstract: Disclosed is a razor or cutting blade of a thin sheet-like construction having a ceramic material contained therein. The blade is either wholly made of a ceramic material or has a coating of ceramic material thereon. The blade may be made of many different shapes, such as a rectangle a trapezoid. The blade may have a metal ridge on one edge of the rectangle while the other longitudinal edge is sharpened. The trapezoid construction may have the long edge sharpened in addition to one of the slanted edges. Any of the blades may have notches in non-sharpened edges thereof to act as locating guides when placed in a manipulating handle.

  • Publication number: 20110006063
Abstract: A rupturable bubble package for containing items may be hermetically sealed from the environment. The hermetically sealed items are selected from candies, mechanical items such as nails, screws and nuts, medications, straws, or tooth picks, etc. The package is constructed as a sleeve or an oval or a round bubble, having one or more sides sealed. Another embodiment exhibits a container made of plastic material, paper, or foil. The material is folded upon itself and forms an overlap on one or more sides. The overlap is heat sealed, glued or adhered and closed. Both packages will burst open at a weak seal closure, with a sound, when finger pressure is applied to the package.

  • Publication number: 20100206756
Abstract: A rupturable bubble package for containing a sanitized implement such as, for example, a drinking straw, a toothpick or medical instruments. The bubble package is characterized by its construction from a flexible, substantially impervious material capable of maintaining a positive pressure of air or other gaseous fluids within the package once it is sealed. The package is constructed of front, back, top and bottom panels. All of the panels are adhered to each by an application of glue. Two of the panels are adhered to each other by a weaker glue. When finger pressure is applied to an outside surface of the bubble package, the panels adhered with the weaker glue will burst open. At that location, one of panels has an extended portion thereon constituting a finger grip. When the finger grip is grasped by the fingers that applied pressure to the package, that panel may be pulled from the package to gain access to an interior of the package.

  • Publication number: 20090107866
Abstract: A ruptural bubble package for containing an implement such as, for example, a drinking straw, a toothpick or medical instruments, The bubble package is characterized by its construction from a flexible, substantially impervious material capable of maintaining a positive pressure of air or other gaseous fluids within the package once it is sealed. There are weakened portions or locations on the package that will burst open when an exterior finger pressure is applied to the outside of the package.

  • Publication number: 20090016798
Abstract: A writing instrument is made of different colors. That difference includes the writing core as well is the outer sleeve. The writing core having different colors is produced by extrusion of the core. The extrusion can create different layers, different stripes or just blobs of different colors. The writing core could also present a logo by way of extrusion or molding. The writing core will produce different color stripes on paper. The outer sleeve surrounding the core can also be co-extruding and also in different colors. The outer sleeve would have to be somewhat harder than the core but both could be subjected to a pencil sharpener. The writing core could also be encased in wood or plastic whereby the casing in wood or plastic would have to be manufactured in two halves to encase the extruded writing core. The wood or plastic material could be surrounded by a sheet having colors thereon. The extruded outer sleeve could also contain a retractable ball point pen.

  • Publication number: 20070209208
Abstract: An adjustable blade utility knife having a hollow body comprising two hinged body parts, a blade system for extending a four cutting edged blade, and a knurled knob mounted on opposite sides of the body for controlling the blade system with a finger of either hand of an operator. A second embodiment contains serrated edges. The blade may be manufactured using a refractory hard metal or cemented carbides. A blade storage area is formed inside the body.

  • Publication number: 20040226848
Abstract: A rupturable bubble package for containing an implement such as, for example, a drinking straw is disclosed. The bubble package is characterized by its construction from a flexible, substantially impervious material capable of maintaining a positive pressure when sealed with the implement inside. A weakened portion is provided on at least one surface of the package whereby the weakened portion will rupture when the package is squeezed, thereby providing access to the implement for its removal and use.
