    Abstract: A quick connect fitting is disclosed which provides a method of connecting a Luer type needle assembly to a syringe body which is quick and easy to use and which provides for a secure and leak proof connection. The quick connect fitting is of the twist on and off type, provides a stop to prevent over tightening of the needle assembly, and also provides a method of securing the needle assembly to prevent accidental loosening or removal.
