  • Patent number: 11920605
Abstract: A rotating machine includes a shaft, a first impeller wheel, and a second impeller wheel. The rotating machine also includes a first seal assembly including a first carbon ring disposed about the shaft, with the first carbon ring having a first carbon surface. The first seal assembly also includes a first mating ring disposed about the shaft, with the first mating ring having a first mating surface facing and configured to contact the first carbon surface. The rotating machine additionally includes a second seal assembly including a second carbon ring disposed about the shaft, with the second carbon ring having a second carbon surface. The second seal assembly also includes a second mating ring disposed about the shaft, with the second mating ring having a second mating ring surface facing and configured to contact the second carbon surface.

  • Publication number: 20240032521
Abstract: A device and system to remotely distribute bait is used to attract fish, especially in an off-shore fishing scenario where debris or a “weed line” is spotted. The device is made of a hollow sphere comprising two hemispheres; a loop; slots in the lower hemisphere; a buoyancy material for flotation. A user of a device and system to remotely distribute bait would fill the sphere with bait and select a location desirous of fishing. A user would then throw the device toward the desired location and wait for the chum to fall from the device into the water.

  • Publication number: 20230094262
Abstract: A device to hold a fishing rod and reel to assist a user with handling a fishing rod and reel in a hands-free manner. The device is made of a hollow tube for the fishing rod to fit into, connected to a leg plate and uses straps to tighten the device around one's leg and belt. A user of a device and system to hold a fishing rod and reel would place a leg plate against the outside of either their left or right leg and feed the straps around their leg. Connecting the straps will hold the device and system to hold a fishing rod and reel securely in place. A fishing rod handle can then be inserted downward into the hollow tube to allow a person to work on lures, untangle lines, or generally operate the fishing rod in a hands-free manner.

  • Patent number: 4659649
Abstract: The invention provides new compositions which change color on exposure to actinic radiation and contain a photosensitive onium, e.g. iodonium or sulphonium, salt and a dyestuff which changes color when protonated. The compositions may also include a resin, especially a resin curable by the onium salt when the latter is exposed, and preferably an epoxy resin. The compositions are useful especially as coatings, e.g. for making screen stencils or for producing lithographic printing plates.

  • Patent number: 4548890
Abstract: Aqueous dispersions comprising water, a cationically curable compound, and a photosensitive onium salt, and preferably other ingredients such as sensitizers, fillers, and plasticizers, are useful for making printing screens, lithographic plates, and printed circuit resists. After exposure, the un-cured composition is easily removed by washing with water.
