  • Patent number: 5842300
Abstract: The present invention relates to a retrofittable laser system (10) utilizing miniaturized components which are insertable into a pistol barrel (24B) of a pistol (24) which emits a laser module light pulse (12C) when a pistol firing trigger (24F) activates a pistol firing pin (24E). The pistol (24) further comprises a pistol housing (24A) and a pistol ammunition chamber (24D). The retrofittable laser system (10) comprises a laser module (12) which comprises at least one laser module pin (12A). The laser module (12) further comprises a laser module diode (12E) having a laser module diode driver circuit (12EA) electronically connected to the at least one laser module pin (12A). The laser module (12) further comprises a laser module graded index optics (12D) integrally associated with the laser module diode (12E).

  • Patent number: 5676889
Abstract: An apparatus for aerating and mixing liquids and gases that includes a hollow housing, at least one rotating object, rotating apparatus for rotating the rotating object, a shaft, and at least one adjustably positioned conduit tube. The hollow housing has a hollow housing first portion and a hollow housing second portion. The hollow housing first portion has a hollow housing first portion wall that contains at least one hollow housing first portion wall inflow port and the hollow housing second portion has a hollow housing second portion wall that contains at least one hollow housing second portion wall outflow port. The at least one rotating object is located in the hollow housing second portion and has a rotating object low pressure side. The rotating apparatus rotates the at least one rotating object and is located in the hollow housing first portion. The shaft connects the at least one rotating object to the rotating apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5220681
Abstract: A decoding and display mechanism that may be integrated with avionics, navigation and communications equipment whose encoded audio output is normally monitored directly through the pilot's headset. The encoded audio signal is coupled through a programmable bandpass filter to remove potentially contaminating noise signals, particularly human voice signals, that might otherwise prevent successful decoding of the superimposed (e.g. Morse) code. The filtered encoded audio signal is then coupled to a (microprocessor-based) decoder which decodes the symbols of the encoded tone and generates a set of output signals representative of the alpha-numeric abbreviation of the source of the channel being monitored. This set of output signals is then used to drive a digital display (or other humanly perceptible indicator, such as a synthesized voice enunciator), so that the pilot may be provided with the identification of the source of the monitored channel.
